@hondasniper250 We have a shortbed, only haul the bike when we pull the boat and take the dogs. Incredible comments on this great product. We use it for everything. We purchased it for the construction industry and have found numerous uses for it. Glad to see you are so happy.
agreed; it was on and off at the 2 minute mark which is nice. I wouldn't mind knowing what the weight of one of these is myself. I have several ramps for loading unloading snow blowers out my truck for winter work and use them for my bike as well. They're heavy as all sin made of reinforced steel only fold once and take up large amounts of space. This looks like it'd solve both those issues AND it has that handy strap that none of mine utilize unless I snap on a cargo strap ((do for bike)).
Jesus, why not make it another 20 feet longer and 200 pounds heavier. So after you load your bike where do you put that huge ramp? Thumbs down - sorry.
The only negative I can think of is backing out a bike with a high seat could be dangerous as you could only put one foot on the ground and not flat like this guy did with both feet. The price isn't all that bad compared to a motorcycle carrier. This would be great if you have a heavy bike and are towing a travel trailer. It would be nice if they would include a device to secure the ramp in the back of the pickup with the bike. You would not wanted it to be stolen or fall on the bike or if you have no tailgate fall out the back. At 75Lbs it extremely light and would be great if your near max gvwr.
it looks like the best ramp on the planet actually, if they can make a bag for it that mounts too a roof rack or something...they would sell a ton. great idea anyway, and the tail gates are designed to support a serious load capacaity, so the idea, is sound other then the transportation of the ramp after the bike is loaded... great invention.
Can you show a video of bike in truck bed and ramp in truck bed together? How many tie downs do you need for both, the bike and ramp? Will a Dyna low rider clear the bottom of the ramp or will it scrap? Thanks Lowe308
wow that thing is huge. How are you going to transport bike AND ramp at the same time? That ramp looks like it's half the size of that truck bed. Oh, I get it, you need a buddy to follow you in HIS truck, lol.
These ramps are a great idea and the most compact folding ramp available. However the single run versions have less than desirable torsional stiffness.
how can u say this takes forever.... in 3 minutes he took the ramp out hooked it up loaded and unloaded the bike and put it away. ill spend 30 minutes to safetly get my bike up or off my truck if i have to. how heavy is this? i dont see why u cant put ur bike in the truck and then lean the ramp on its side against the bed wall and bunjee cord it or strap it so it stays put. looks like it would work for me. how much? comparible ramps go for 4-6 hundred
I like this ramp but I need one that is 48 inches wide I tried the Big Boy II ramp last year but returned it as it was only 38 inches wide and unsafe Anyone make a ramp that is 48 inches wide and folding?
They can make them as long as you want, they are made from aluminum and if you can't handle the ramp you probably shouldn't be driving. Why get a trailer if you can haul? Pretty cool tool, I see these used at the airports, they are bigger, about fifteen feet long.....you can lead a horse to water but,
i have one of these huge ramps. yes it is huge! full ten feet long and three feet wide. the ramp folds to nine inches and i put it in the cab or along side the bed while hauling the bike. i love it! shopped for a long time, money well spent. i dont know about the rest of you morons but this thing works for everything. the biggest problem with it is everyone wants to borrow it.
Actually not bad: but 1) the demonstrator looks like a semi-pro middle linebacker in football slinging the bulky object around, and 2) 47" wide would be better for walking a winch assisted pulley, for control and safety. Atlanta Falcons could use that guy on defense! Tell him to try out.
Lookup the video entitled "the ultimate loading ramp" by "jeepinlife4me". I just saw that vid before I saw this one, and it beats the hell outta this ramp by 1000000 times
normally you would take the ramp out unfold then load bike then put the ramp back together but then when unloading you would take the ramp apart then load again... to much work .
Nice video, thanks for taking the time to show how easy it can be.

Nice video. Nice ramp. Price is REDICKULESS and not in line with other ramps purchased
where do you put it after bike is loaded?

how much room is left in the back of the truck for that huge folded up ramp after the bike is loaded?
:09 look at the size of that thing.

Looks like a very well thought out design.

One word. PRO! So quick and clean. I'd drop the shit out of that bike.
@stewartx5 Tailgate cables do not have manufacture weight bearing ratings. It is important that you inspect the crimps and check for frays.
Just where a fair percentage of Harley's reside on any sort of trip, the back of a pickup truck. Or a trailer next to a bunch of its friends.
I guess the next thing he buys is a trailer to haul the ramp after he loads the motorcycle.

Does riding a Harley make it manditory to have a mullet?
wow that thing is huge.

Oh, I get it, you need a buddy to follow you in HIS truck, lol.
scorpionramp also has extra wide ramps as well
I've got a full 8 foot bed on my Ram and there's no way that ramp would fit alongside a CBR or even a dirt bike! But it works nicely enough at least.
What if the tailgate breaks?
These ramps are a great idea and the most compact folding ramp available. However the single run versions have less than desirable torsional stiffness.
I thought it was great till I saw the price. FUCK THAT! I'll stick with my trailer.
How much does this ramp cost.
How you fit the ramp in with the bike it is to damn big
most trailers have integral ramps or a tilting mechanism
how can u say this takes forever.... in 3 minutes he took the ramp out hooked it up loaded and unloaded the bike and put it away. ill spend 30 minutes to safetly get my bike up or off my truck if i have to.

Wondering if that would hold a 950 pound goldwing....
You can special order 48-60" ramps.
who makes it and do they ship to the uk?
Where can I purchase this? I'm in Canada
@YamahaMonster660 hahahaha ive been thinking about that watching all these big ramp videos, you'll have to have someone deliver the ramps to you hahha
@YamahaMonster660 the ramp is disposable after it is loaded up.
I like this ramp but I need one that is 48 inches wide
I tried the Big Boy II ramp last year but returned it as it was only 38 inches wide and unsafe
Anyone make a ramp that is 48 inches wide and folding?
How much does it weight
what keeps ramp from rolling in truck bed?

I don't know about you but I'm not willing to spend 1 grand on that ramp.

Good product but ridiculously expensive.
OH MAN I NEED THIS!
nice mullet!!
i agree ... price tag is like wow.
It's only 9" wise when it's folded, you just slide it in next to the bike.
true
@YamahaMonster660
still mount at the car ;D
$1000???????? Uhhhh NOT
big boy 3 is 57in
