Others to check out : A Looking in View , Private Hell , Your Decision, All Secrets Known , Lesson Learned, Stone , Phantom Limb , Hollow , Voices , Never Fade , Rainier Fog , The One You Know .. Much like their catalog with Layne these songs are a variety of heavy to rock to acoustic/ Alt rock stuff . Hope you check more out ..2-2 on the newer stuff so far . If I had to pick one for next ..Stone off of the Devil Put Dinosaurs Here album 🤘
If you like the use of wah wah, I highly recommend checking out the live version of Damien Rice's "I remember" (Live at St Luke's for the BBC). It's completely different to Alice In Chains but I promise you will blow your mind in ways you didn't even know it could be blown. I recently re-discovered that version and used to play over and over again 15 years ago or so. SO many different emotions, so raw. I'll try add a link here, I hope that'll work. ua-cam.com/video/J74gTgea5-I/v-deo.html
Good stuff brotha, this whole album is amazing. “Private hell” is my favorite from this record and sounds like absolute vintage AIC to me, but the whole record is great front to back

Definetly react to A Looking In View from the same album. Even heavier than this.
This is up there as one of my fav AiC records. Like right on par with Dirt, Self titled and Jar of Flies for me in terms of quality of songs.
Got to check out Breath on a Window off of TDPDH. Absolutely GREAT Outro. Some of Jereys best guitar work imho.
One of the hardest songs out there
