I always forget how screechy the older TechDrive is. I changed the gears on my Gsix to be the same to the newer ones. The old TechDrive simply doesn’t work on my carpet. It likes to skip and hop around way too much. But what a beautiful machine.
Beautiful machine, unfortunately I don’t have much use for a Kirby anymore, my parents got rid of our carpet. They are far too bulky for my taste to use the attachments. I know I’ve said in the past Kirby’s are the best. And they are for carpets. But for anything else my rainbows are far superior. Should have an e2 black in the next 3-4 weeks
Just be aware not to lower the power nozzle too low. That’ll just restrict the airflow, not increase the performance. If you hear that brushroll touching the carpet at the highest position, you lower the nozzle down just one more notch.

I know that all too well. Just experimenting with the carpet a bit. It is my first time vacuuming this carpet afterall.
