Corrections/Notes 1: This story has spoilers for Arc 6 and diverges from there. (0:00) 2: Sage, not "Saint". (1:02) 3: Subaru had been in this world for less than a year and several months as of Arc 6, thus it can't be more than a "few years". (1:38) 4: This was in the editing, but yeah, Regin's name is pronounced with a hard G. (4:59) 5: While not noted in the video, Subaru couldn't read Rem's Book of the Dead because it was empty. This also comes from the supplement. (8:26) 6: Subaru said hitting his head hard caused the change to his eye. He only wasn't sure how his hair color changed. The supplement to this story goes further in-depth into this, adding that it may have been the stress from reading Beatrice's Book of the Dead that eventually turned his hair white and pushed him into repeatedly hitting his head. (10:33) 7: The reveal that Subaru caused the flood to ensure Otto's death was not in the video. There's also no mention of the illusions of everyone else telling him that Otto was the most troublesome person among them. (10:43) 8: His eye being white has nothing to do with him at least hearing the illusory voices of everyone else, he heard "Meili" within himself way back in Arc 6 in the loop where Rui temporary took control over his body to kill her. (13:08)
thanks for the corrections I heavily simplified everything just in case anyone wanted to read the original story for themselves, I didn’t want it unnecessarily give everything away Also, Just my thinking but I thought the faded Eye was a cool thematic thing even if that’s not what the author intend lol
Reinhard isn't the strongest because he is the swordsaint, he is the strongest because he is Reinhard, so the question doesn't really work. Reinhard is way stronger than the previous swordsaints.
Gluttony if Subaru is such a complex and uniqie version of Subaru, hes relying on the books of the dead despite the fact that it distorts his own identity when he experiences the memories within the books of the dead and despite wanting to save his friends he believes only the idealized version of subaru who he has seen can save everyone and that he's a fake compared to him and so he can only rely on the memory of others, honestly a very good character
Sadest part about this if to me is subaru not knowing completely how return by death works and thinking new subaru if he were to ever kill reinhard would be able to just go back to before all this happens when more than likely a checkpoint has been placed which makes that impossible
I think of this Subaru as tragic because of him trying to get Subaru back he kills everyone that even has a glimpse of him of who he was before but he is just a “Subaru” that lost his flag before it started. It’s kind of poetic that Subaru said he was going to save them just for him to kill them just to get his true identity back

Subaru : are you the strongest because you are the sword saint, or you are sword saint because you are the strongest
That’s actually a very profound question! Did you come up with it yourself? 🤯
@@BUR404 i think i watch too much jjk 😂🤣

@@dai-f8u but he might not defeat satella or pandora
@@Bird55511 But they can't defeat Reinhard either, is a stalemate.

if you want to see more Re:Zero what if stories, someone name "Echidnut" cover them all. Also there are fantastical action scenes in the sloth what if
Yeah I’ve seen those, they’re really well done!
Subaru : *Sighing*
Arc 6 : here we go again
We definitely need another video related on Subaru he is just that good of a character seriously.
Another peak video
Real
bro needs speech therapy
Listening it at x2 speed is crazy
Yo Bro, love the concept of your channel being like a whole robot booting up, I find it very interesting.
Do a video on Hajun. I know that’s gonna be probably next to impossible considering the scales and debates as well as just how broke he is. 😭💀
Did gluttony subaru kill all the sin archbishops?
8:53 BRO WTF IS GOING ON (that was my reaction)
Could yogiri take the life of subaru
Yeah and even RBD wouldn’t help
yeah, yogiri would win, but subaru probably wouldn't be in a situation to worry about it anyways
Why are you even asking this question ? Yogiri can kill anos and rimuru, what's Subaru can do if rimuru and anos can't do anything?
he need to fight satella for that
@@KEN_CORNEASno, yogiri can instantly permanently kill subaru without worrying about return by death, after that satella might come
So subaru doesn't die in this route?
No
At 2:46, what did he say? Infront of what?
At 1:50, what did he say? The deaths of what?
I just watch the anime and yet to watch the vid is that a what if
Yes
