Very nice finished product. I wouldn’t have the courage to cut through the boat like you did but I completely understand why you had to do it. Just not a lot of room and I can’t stand the garbage/lazy pseudo IB setups everyone does. Nicely done.
thank you. and yes i was a little nervous at first, even intimedated by such an expensive boat. but when i tell my best friend to trust me thats what he does and it paid off , sounds amazing and everyone loves it ,was out on it these weekend ,thanks for watching
Pretty clean install, and certainly better than what was already there. Those subs sound even better/ hit even lower freqs with some slot ports. I built a few slotted boxes to specs in my day, (I ran my own mobile audio/ video install business probably 20 years ago.) Installs seemed like they were a lot bigger and more popular back then. I definitely had no shortage of customers. There even used to be quite a few spl/ sq competitions, and AFAIK the ones that were local to me are long gone. Would be cool to glass in some pods since its a boat, theres no prob using more of it, plus you can paint it to match the hull if you want. Biggest f.g. wall setup I ever did was like 12 15" Memphis SHP's two big ass alternators (good for 15.5v,) Orion HCCA monoblocks, some extra group 31 Optima batteries, battery isolator, all 1/0 wiring, Audio Control line driver, Audio Control Epicenter, Audio Control EQL?, Clarion DXZ-935, etc.... It was installed in a Chevy Express van. I welded in a ton of bracing, miles of sound deadening, lexan windows, etc. It hit 160+ db all day and that was without any tuning really. I wish i had pictures of my work. Anyways, nice work, gorgeous boat! Thank you for sharing man. 🙂👍
Thank you and Thanks for watching Vassmotorsports, sounds like you have built some killer systems, I like the sealed boxes just because we listen to such a wide range of music not just rap or SPL and also the limited space and didn't want to loose the whole compartment being on a boat. Definitely not gonna say we winning any competitions lol, but what a world of difference and plenty loud enough on the lake for everyone around to enjoy or hate and sounds amazingly clean , yes pods could have been a nice option to install some more 8's. But honestly its enough now haha. Thanks again for watching and hope ya check out some of my other vids and boat/cars etc restores and rescues i normally do but my brother was bugging me for this upgrade since last year
