Really glad gamestop is getting into pc parts. There was no need to reinvent the wheel, just provide a better alternative to newegg and as far as I can tell, they're doing that. 2 weeks for the gpu is gross but it's far better than "7 to 31 business days" that newegg has been letting their sellers get away with.
Don't pick a seller from China and that won't happen.
I will stick with Micro Center if you have one near you.
@@Raansu Physical games are not disappearing it’s just companies are doing half lazy releases and selling you the rest Val DLC not to mention they wanna control your games via DRM & such, i will always support both media if given the option.
They can easily become a bigger microcenter in the next couple of years.

@@Raansu The real reason for this isn't because "devs are lazy," it's because load times are significantly faster even if the only difference is loading off an HDD vs the disk. And current gen consoles (PS5, Series X/S) have SSDs. Actually loading these games off the Blu-Ray would probably multiply your load times by 10.

@@agentmay0 get outta here, it’s not ripping anyone off if they accept it. Plus if you’re a pro member, you get more value than if not. You just have to be smart about these things, if it’s something that would sell fast: do it yourself.

Can confirm this is all true. I needed to build a new rig for gaming and also for content creation, and while searching online, was pleasantly surprised by their offerings! Built my PC, but also got a gaming chair, lighting equipment and some other decor that fit my vibe. One of the items was sent wrong, but when I reached out to customer service they actually sent me the correct item and let me keep the incorrect item which I ended up using anyways. Shocked Pikachu face.
Similar experience for me. Their customer services has been on FIRE the last year or so
This is what companies do when they are starting up a new service. This is the company that gives people $0.25 for a game they resell for $30. This is the company that sells "Refurbished" consoles that are dirty and broken. Don't ever forget that. They just pimped you so you would advertise for them and it worked.

@@agentmay0 It's not ripping off. You get to sell your games and consoles with ease just like you would at a pawn shop or when trading in a car. If you want fair market value then go sell it privately on ebay or fb and deal with low ballers, listing, shipping etc.

i have recently added an additional nvme gen4 to my pc but now the pc restarts on startup but only when i switch the main power off, if i just shut down and dont switch the main outlet off then it works fine, i have updated windows and the bios but ntn works, please help

CPU - Intel Core i7-12700K GPU - Either the 3060 or 3060ti RAM - 32gb DDR4 3600 MOTHERBOARD - ASUS Prime Z690-P and powering that would be a 850w power supply. (this will be used for streaming/gaming)

Wonder how much they would offer for that? GameStop should really improve their trade in pricing. I think more people would actually trade in games if they gave at least half what they will sell it for. I can understand on some games but like elden ring they offered me 5 dollars cash after I beat it and they were selling used for 55.
I know they have to profit but offering $5 for something they sell for $55 is a big scam. Thats how they lose customers

I work at Gamestop and it hurts seeing them have gpu's when I bought my 3060 for 800
I mean from what I understand, either micro center bought out GameStop or GameStop bought out micro center. So obviously it was bound to come sooner or later.

As someone who purchased a power spec do not I REPEAT DO NOT BUT ONE UNLESS YOU READ REVIEWS FOR IT! I got a power spec with and intel i7 11700k and it ran over 100c on a cinebench test and would randomly crash and reboot while gaming like red dead had a pny 3070 in it. Def don’t recommend any powerspecs with the experience I had. I went back to microcenter and they took it back and gave me store credit and I bought a asus pre build, mind you this was a year and a half ago gpus we’re still way too high. Really nice build tho I liked the case had magnetic filters I paid $1600-1800 for the power spec had 32gb ram one ssd crashed randomly and then spent $2600 on the asus build has a R7 5800 and a tuf 3070 works like a charm sucks I had to give them more money to get something that works 🤣
I never thought i would have a good pc. I started watching ur channel and so did my grandpa and we put together a 5000$ custom built pc. We used aloy of ur tips thanks. But u never show thr hard part which is the cords ☠️ took us like a whole day. For the cord management and placement alone
