Awesome episode, Kind people, cool rides, I NEED friends like you guys, We wish for a '69-72 short bed chev over here in Fremantle, rare enough to see one, let alone a flock of them in the bush 😅 Great to see the Lad out of the crocks for sure... Why do crocks have holes in them? It's where your dignity falls out 😅 Thanks guys 😊
I've been a carpenter my whole life. To meet you and to see what you get to do every day would be a dream. I'd love to come help you remodel your kitchen.
Adventures with Dave, Wesley and families! Nothing better for a sunday when it is hot outside. To watch others suffer in the heat and do car things is a good thing for me!
Man, that truck is in GREAT condition. Can't ask for a better start than that. I really hope all those other vehicles in that field get rescued before they get any worse. Lots of great project material just sitting there. That Model A rat rod was bad ass. Love that he kept it Ford powered.
I had an awesome weekend fishing and saving another c10 with you and Lucas! You’re a great friend and you’re always willing to help me with whatever so the pleasure was all mine! Let’s wait until it cools off before we start working on your c10 though 😂😅😅
I still remember the first time my grandpa let me drive sitting on his lap. I was 6 and I was the last one to drive his 68 3/4 ton Chevy, before he traded it in on his brand new Ford Ranger in 86. You’re definitely making awesome memories with your son. Driving Rat Rod Bob’s car is an awesome memory to have and to have shared with all of us.
You got an Awesome little man there Dave. you got to be a proud father. It's wonderful that you take him along with you and teach him life skills. I watch a few of these shows' and a lot of father's don't take there kids with them at all Finnigan never takes his kids with him or even out to the garage, I hope he douse it off screen, kids need to learn life skills and be with there father's Way to Dave. A FORD pulling a Chevy, lol
well , I'll never look at another 69 Chevy Hood and not think of a dustpan !! Newbern , you get my vote for Father of the Year ! Just knew y'all was going to find a carburetor in the truck. Great content !! True Hot Rodding !
so cool taking yourboy for a ride in Rat ROD Bobs coupe and the seed is planted. another gear head hot rodder on the rise...lol...welcome son, welcome...
Just watched your video of your Lamborghini riding around your yard and your son is definitely going to be a hot rodder like Dad is, great job In getting the Lambo running again and when you turned it over with the spark plugs out and it shot the transmission fluid out of the spark plug holes and the look on your face, all i could think about at the moment was the Cotten would have been standing right there when it came flying out lol, sorry Cotten lol.Great videos David ane now to watch this one and i definitely subscribed
If that youngin of yours doesn’t turn out to be a hot roder then he will be a famous actor one day! I really get a kick out seeing the pure joy on his face when he is working a on something with you or just seeing a new hot rod for the first time. We all really need to make sure we keep our kids, boys and girls, involved with our projects.. Your a good dude 12volt I know you don’t need me to say that but good things come to good people. Keep these weekly videos coming brotherman.
Dave I love your videos. You including your boy warms an an old man’s heart. Please get him to ditch the Crocs. Check out Keens. Awesome waterproof sandal style with a great protective toe. No, I have nothing to gain, just worn them for years.
Lucky SOB... big block, 4 speed, buff out paint with comet n wet rag, oolish it , new tires, brakes etc n enjoy it... truck would shine w the comet treatment...
Short bed C10 for a shop truck Very cool. Even in the south, the rockers on the 67-72's rot. Don't make my mistake and make it too nice where you wouldn't want to toss parts in it and go.
From what I've been told....you pronounce that last name RUDE. Well, that's my two cents for the day, I"m done, hehehe. Letting your son drive Bob's rat rod brought back memories of me riding on my Dad's lap and steering his old 67 mustang. He's gone now and I wish he could ride in my 2024 Mustang GT with me. Thanks for the drive down memory lane!
I would die to have it, you guys kill me if you ever need me on a tree job, where to clean a mess up, I'm in Maryland and available. God bless all you good old boys and , little boy that drove the car.
Definitely a 69 by the grill and side markers. I have a 71 but i like the 69 grill so much i changed my grill to the 69. Nice find boys.. Dave you need to get it ready and come up to NC for c10 revival truck show this year . I ran into Cotton there one year.. Dude is cool as hell.
You can just plug that tire, and it'll be fine! I've plugged my drag radials, then gone and raced on them for years, never an issue. I had a staple in my truck tire, same spot as yours, I plugged it and been driving on it for 18 months, with no issue. I keep lots of plug kits in the door of my truck just for these occasions.
Ok, that model A is Sick! I dig the stitching on the body that's too much! What a bad ass ride! The Chevy C10's are way cool. My older brother had a '69 w/a 3 on the tree & later I had a '73 w/a 350 w/a 4 Barrel Quadrajunk & 350 Turbo Trans. My '73 I got for $400.00. It had No Front Grill, No Front or Rear Bumpers the Passenger side door was bashed in (but still worked) & a BIG HOLE in the Seat. I put a Houston Phone Book in it, LOL! I miss that old beater!
It’s gotta be so nice to have money and know how to build all that cool stuff. Between bad decisions and bad luck I never got a chance to have anything really cool. I’m now old disabled and broke. Kids make good decisions, you do not want a life like I’ve had.
If your son drove a car like that to school when he gets his licenses he would be the coolest kid in the school. That truck is awesome and id stick with the bluevery cool. Small block or LS ?
There's not too many old trucks left in my area (New Brunswick), and the few I've seen are more rust than steel. I wish I'd been able to drag one back from out west when I was stationed out there...
That boy is ruined for sure now ha haa. Thanks for the shout out! 👍👍
You’re the man Bob, that boy will be telling that story his whole life!😂👍🏼🇺🇸🦅
Yeah he's been on the hunt for a coupe since we left lol
Sad to see the boy wearing a shop rags. Please buy him a proper shirt dave
I like the red Ford pickup
About time you get a proper c10 in 6 volts life! he is hooked for sure!
Letting that boy drive that car, is the raddest thing I’ve seen from you yet Dave! So cool of Rat Rod Bob to inspire him with that drive.
Also, come on we all knew Wesley was cool from the first video we saw him in. Bunch of good ole boys!
That's how I learned to drive. When I was 12.
Good Dad.

Man! That's a driver! Lowered and keep the slots! 😎
You got that right!
One of 12 volt Dave's favorite wheels so even if they don't stay on the truck I'd almost bet he keeps them and probably polishes them up lol
Kid needs his own channel.

I would die to have it, you guys kill me if you ever need me on a tree job, where to clean a mess up, I'm in Maryland and available. God bless all you good old boys and , little boy that drove the car.
The window regulators on the hotrod are genius.
69 is the year I've always wanted but can never afford with today's prices. Congratulations 12volt Dave
I always wanted a 71 but it’s unattainable in my world
Very cool!!! 👍👍
What a great looking truck 👍👍

Definitely a 69 by the grill and side markers. I have a 71 but i like the 69 grill so much i changed my grill to the 69. Nice find boys.. Dave you need to get it ready and come up to NC for c10 revival truck show this year . I ran into Cotton there one year.. Dude is cool as hell.

Nice truck, can’t wait to see it completed.
That truck had a good ole treefity in it
those wheels HAVE to stay on that truck!! they look PERFECT on it.
The paint looks good with that Patina on it I would leave it just like that and clear it!!
It’s gotta be so nice to have money and know how to build all that cool stuff. Between bad decisions and bad luck I never got a chance to have anything really cool. I’m now old disabled and broke. Kids make good decisions, you do not want a life like I’ve had.
That yellow rod looks like Milner's coupe went to hell and came back with a vengeance lol
If your son drove a car like that to school when he gets his licenses he would be the coolest kid in the school. That truck is awesome and id stick with the bluevery cool. Small block or LS ?
My son had a fit over it so I told him we could build it together. He said LS lol
Cool truck, I can’t wait to see what you do with it. Also the hot rod is exactly what I want to build.
There's not too many old trucks left in my area (New Brunswick), and the few I've seen are more rust than steel. I wish I'd been able to drag one back from out west when I was stationed out there...
Please tell me you're going to leave the wheels on it, love them Old school slots
Absolutely
Hey Dave you know that Dan from DD speedshop has a model A in pieces that you could probably get pretty cheap 😉
Oh I know
Damn I want that model a
Got a screwdriver in same spot round a year ago just driving thru a town, it rode the whole time tho never a flat
Definitely worth saving I’d love to find one in that good shape, but it’s hard to do here in Missouri
Awesomeness!!!
