I think devin was a big favourite for everyone even him and I don't know why coz Loma is amazing . He could of meant that or could of meant the opposite or just gave an opinion. I think the fight was very close and it's best to rewatch without the crowd or commentators . Defos not a robbery but also defos not unanimous.

1) Why do you need to self-proclaim that you proved anything? ESPECIALLY if you're number one?
2) You didn't eliminate all doubts, and like the majority, I don't think you walked away with this one, bud.
3) Shakur stepped in YOUR ring during YOUR moment, and you acted like you had diarrhea.
4) You know if you fight at 140 (or if you lose at 140) you don't lose your belts.
5) The difference between you and Shakur is, he's doing it to be the best and you're doing it for a check.

Bud, I got mad respect for you man. Time will tell whether Tank or Skakur can handle Haney. The thing I like about Haney is he will but his money where his mouth is. If he calls you out he is willing to make the fight happen. We will see if Tank and Shakur really want the smoke.

I had haney winning 115-113 i was being unbiased on either side. A lot of loma fans ignored the tit 4 tat rounds where haney was landing big body shots and loma wasnt really answering them. He would wait 30 seconds jump in throw a quick flurry which he would land a punch or two but not enough to win the round. There was at least 5 rounds like that and i gave 2 rounds to haney that could have went either way because i felt haney was more consistent and loma was more sporadic.
Body shots dont really mean jack if the other person receiving it isnt slowing down. loma won 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12. Arguably 6 and 9 too.
Body shots are early round investments to open up the head or to slow the opponent down later on. So it's BS say that Haney won r12 because of good body shots when Loma pushed the pace the entire round, cornered Haney, and landed more head shots.
loma lost even though he's a good guy. he got hit with 50 body shots 50% efficiency and over 70% were significant. the 2 rounds he clearly won did not contain a high volume of punches but counted toward their significance because they were damaging, but Haney recovered while still having more significant shots than loma by the end of the fight.
@Luk Lazer T.V. Agreed man if you watch the fight and are not biased for either fighter you realize haney landed a lot more bigger shots throughout the fight that nobody not even the broadcasters were even acknowledging.
@rdot Did you not notice in between rounds loma was breathing really heavy even in the mid rounds? Also i counted at least 3 times where a big body shot landed on loma and he hunched over/dropped his hands or backed up completely and started dancing around the ring to let his body recover before getting close again. He just hid it well.
I had loma winning 5 rounds. The 12th was clearly a haney round loma took the round off and got hit probably more than any other round in the fight. Also i disagree with round 2 haney won that one to a lot of people and myself included. Not sure about the other rounds you listed i cant remember off the top of my head id have to watch the fight over again.
Like i mentioned loma was more sporadic with his approach he would come and go during rounds. But if you judge a round from beginning to end like you are supposed to you cant just give loma a round if he only has a moment in the middle or end. His strategy was basically to step inside throw a quick flurry then step back out or step to the side and throw some more punches and then get out. He would do it like every 30-40 seconds in a round or after haney landed something big to kinda get him back. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didnt. Great fight it was close but not a robbery.

Every time one of someones favorite fighter loses in boxing or the ufc, its because of robbery. Peoples favorite fighters have never ever lost a fight legitimately. And the way people throw around the word robbery, lets me know they arent real fans of the sports. Cuz, ive seen many times where a fighter has gotten robbed and the vast majority of the fights in the last couple years that everyone is screaming robbery, dont come anywhere close to the real robberies in these sports. For instance, yan vs omalley, volk vs islam, aljo vs cejudo to name a few. Not even fucking close to robberies. Often, its cuz people have no clue about the scoring system.

Its all about names in boxing now..Loma had the fight of his life ..more punches and the more effective punches. Tbh I dont think Shakur deserves a shot just yet...he just got to the weight class..put some work in..atleast 2-3 more fights. The only fight that should happen next is Tank vs Haney. But like is said its a name game so if Tank isnt ready to fight cuz of his legal issues ...the fight gon go to Shakur..not mad about it at all.

For as much as I wanted Loma to win he gave it away in the 12th.
You can't keep saying "close fight" and "swing rounds" and "hard to score" and then reject the idea it could all come down to that 12th.
The scores are bad either way but in my eyes that 12th couldn't be awarded a win in such a close fight.
Allowing a welterweight to starve down and fight bulked up featherweights is a different story that needs talked about at some point though.
