I've been following this sport for a very long time now. I've been to the Olympic Games (2012, 2024), Various World Championships, World Indoor Champs, Commonwealth Games, Various Diamond Leagues but the production of the sport seem very amateur and disconnected. Even the World Athletics page is strangely restrictive but thanks to people like you for interviewing and even reporting from the venue as you are here - something great about a report right after the even as people are packing away - natural. Keep it up. Also big up the Caribbean-American diaspora baby Jacious Sears 🇺🇸🇯🇲 (Jamaican Mother) and Young Trinidadian 🇹🇹 Lisa Raye and my fellow Brit Jessica Bell! World Records too! It was a great meet. I must get over to NYC
Truly an outstanding meet, so many quality performances especially in the mid-distances. So happy to Sears at the top of her game again after her injury last year at NCAA's 7.02 is definitely a time that puts her in contention for a medal at worlds, Masai takes down a super high quality field showing her mental toughness when competing against the best. Bromell, seems to have lost a step and is no longer a medal contender. Naguse, Fisher and Houy in the distances were incredible!
I saw that race and Jacious Sears’ start is very explosive. She has a great top end too. I see her coming up to be one of the top women for the US in the 100!!
During your Millrose preview video I said I was hoping for a PB or two in the Women's 60mH, a world lead in the Women's 60m and for Quincy Wilson to get a PB in the 600m. I guess I can't complain, especially as there were two WR's thrown in. This was an amazing meet, it's a tough act for World Indoors to follow, especially with so many top names not competing,
@@tdial777 You're so right, she deserves more recognition. She ran a faster 200 m indoors than Lisa Raye this year, plus she has a PB last year of 11.53 in the 100 m ,and her little sister is right behind her.
long season Sear's has one gear one gear only ...not sure what the point is of runnin 60% more races than her main rivals ....will be blindsided by the less is more approach from Athletes who have done proper pre season grind and loading for 2 -3 years.
@@alexisbutler4239 in the big league now Jamaican's don't run 65 races a year... injury after that @10.77 said allot . ..the Volume is ridiculous given Jefferson and Tamari probably going to match the workload in her own back yard before she takes on higher honours....
This channel is such a good source to get track news. You don’t treat it like gossip and I love the interviews! This video was great.
Dylan Beard looks very good. Hope he makes the team and wins a medal

Great stuff, Anderson, and your genuine excitement is the icing on this delicious cake. Thank you very much!
The first video that you posted that actually made sense in the longest time
Congrats Masai, Jaciuos, Dylan, Lisa Ray and Melanie Doggett (8th grader). I'm excited by these performances!
Enough can't be said about the 8th grader.

Enjoy the report, BUT, how do you not mention the 13 yr old running 7.17!!! Melanie Doggett!! Let’s do better!!!😂😂😂
Fantastic performance that is also a world best for her age.

I see Jacious coming for Sha’Carri
Definitely not
@ meh, would Definitely expect that answer - from You 😂
@@seensay2132 Don’t start this, Sha’Carri’s far too advanced for Sears right now.
Coming for Julian too
@ she’s got time

I'm sure she's testing her fitness after coming back from injury. She will be fine!
