I kinda feel you, I am a huge fan and have been subscribed for 4 1/2 years but I feel like lately things have been a little different. Not saying she is "weirder" like others are, it is just a slight comedic awkwardness. It reminds me a bit like the way essiebutton acts in her videos but it doesn't suit ingrid's personality like it does estee's. I miss the all around sweetness and innocence and semi shyness that I loved about her when I first subbed and up till the past year or so. I understand people change as they get older but it does sometimes feel a bit forced. Rebecca Lawrence I completely agree. Her attempt at being funny comes off as extremely forced and disingenuous. Her sense of humor, at least from her earliest videos, seems to be completely different, that is to say, barely existent. I love her but being funny never seemed to be a prominent part of her personality, which is totally fine and doesn't make me like her any less by any means. It's just over the top awkward and cringe worthy now. I also don't feel like I can trust anything she recommends anymore because of all the sponsored products in addition to her inability to give a thorough and articulate description of the things she's recommending - and not just products, but people too (like that Carrie Rad youtuber who she just happened to "stumble upon" and wants us all to subscribe to now). She used to give very honest and coherent descriptions of products but now it's just "amazing".
I kind of agree, but also disagree. I've seen this side of her in earlier videos but it usually isn't something she does so often. I also was a bit thrown off by the random suggestion of some unknown youtuber and wondered if she was paid to do that. I love Ingrid and hope she doesn't get too swept up in the business of youtube and stays true to herself.
EricaMorgan Ive seen it as well but not nearly as much as lately. She would always make quirky comments and jokes but they were so sporadic, now it seems like every other sentence has a awkward comment or joke along with a different voice. I hope the same! She seems like she was always a very genuine person on UA-cam, It always made me sad when my fave UA-camrs started acting instead of being themselves! I don't want Ingrid to be the next one.
Niphredil Agreed. I will still take her product recommendations and look into them but I personally don't like when it seems like UA-camrs are sponsoring other UA-camrs in videos. You can usually tell when someone is saying it just because they need to or because they want to. I totally get what you are saying, there have been quite a few times I have shifted or cringed at some of the jokes made in videos, some come off as I am trying to hard and it gets gets to a point where it feels strange but then theres other times where she will make a comment or joke and you laugh and think that's Ingrid, that is how she normally acts!
I know I will get hate for this but don't you think that she was trying way too hard to be weird and that she kept saying she was weird? IDK but it really annoys me :\
I don't think she's really trying to be weird. I think there are many other youtubers who try hard to be weird and its a lot more obvious than her. I think she is just naturally weird but since she tries to be mature.

I love her but being funny never seemed to be a prominent part of her personality, which is totally fine and doesn't make me like her any less by any means. It's just over the top awkward and cringe worthy now.
I also don't feel like I can trust anything she recommends anymore because of all the sponsored products in addition to her inability to give a thorough and articulate description of the things she's recommending - and not just products, but people too (like that Carrie Rad youtuber who she just happened to "stumble upon" and wants us all to subscribe to now). She used to give very honest and coherent descriptions of products but now it's just "amazing".
I kind of agree, but also disagree. I've seen this side of her in earlier videos but it usually isn't something she does so often. I also was a bit thrown off by the random suggestion of some unknown youtuber and wondered if she was paid to do that. I love Ingrid and hope she doesn't get too swept up in the business of youtube and stays true to herself.
EricaMorgan Ive seen it as well but not nearly as much as lately. She would always make quirky comments and jokes but they were so sporadic, now it seems like every other sentence has a awkward comment or joke along with a different voice. I hope the same! She seems like she was always a very genuine person on UA-cam, It always made me sad when my fave UA-camrs started acting instead of being themselves! I don't want Ingrid to be the next one.
Niphredil Agreed. I will still take her product recommendations and look into them but I personally don't like when it seems like UA-camrs are sponsoring other UA-camrs in videos. You can usually tell when someone is saying it just because they need to or because they want to. I totally get what you are saying, there have been quite a few times I have shifted or cringed at some of the jokes made in videos, some come off as I am trying to hard and it gets gets to a point where it feels strange but then theres other times where she will make a comment or joke and you laugh and think that's Ingrid, that is how she normally acts!

I don't think she's really trying to be weird. I think there are many other youtubers who try hard to be weird and its a lot more obvious than her. I think she is just naturally weird but since she tries to be mature.
I agree! Her videos from even a year ago seem more mature than her videos now... I miss the old Ingrid. Now it's like a "show". Ugh.
