He maybe choked a little and made some bad decisions. However, I don't think Joe was washed though. It was a close battle. Nelly vs Ja would have been better if we weren’t getting Ja vs 50. Give me the two singing rapping dudes from that era. What. Dilemma vs Put it on Me or always on time, country grammar vs New York. Hot in herre vs I’m Real. Give me. Give me.
It would have been amazing
That would have been crazy Nelly lik the ja clone people don't realized that they both got the rap shit but then got the singing rap shit
Then who vs Luda?
@@timothycurry2167 Luda vs TI or Luda vs Busta
@@ramierecollins891 I would have lost my shit if Nelly and Kelly did Dilemma then Ja and Ashanti did Always on Time
Fact that Joe preplanned Nelly to come on stage for him showed he knew he didn't stand a chance against Ja, period.
Just imagine Ja bring out Dru Hill..
great show! guys! Yes, Ja killed it!
JaRule is fire 🔥 give him his props!!
Love Joe’s commentary on Verzuz battles
Am I the only one who thought "Furious" was a hard ass Ja track, that most definitely should've been included at some point? Not sure why that track gets overlooked all the time.
Hell yeah 💯
me too
Camr forget life ain't a game
I LOVE FAT JOE.
But yes, he was overly confident. He came in hyped up with a plan and thought he would BODY JA.
JA was on fire 🔥 and it shook Joe. He maybe choked a little and made some bad decisions.
However, I don't think Joe was washed though. It was a close battle. Joe gave an incredible performance, but JA stole it with an impeccable song selection, superior stage presentation/energy and just an AMAZING all around stage performance🔥.
CONGRATULATIONS JA👑.
LOVE YOU Crack👑.
It was no close call.. Ja won by a mile
Joe got washed
Fat Joe tried his hardest. And just like his career, his hardest wasn't enough.
Super facts
JA VS 50 would have been a madness!!! But well worthwhile!
I mean fuck a competition, these are two of the many artists from my childhood. I was a 50 fan over Ja and Joe, but I owned that Ja Rule the last temptation album, I loved that shit. Great nostalgic moment.
In my opinion Mr. Far Joe did everything to get his brother back in the Hip Hop grace so to speak. They are brothers and who else other the Fat Joe would extend an olive branch and let JA Rule get his shine and Flowers all at the same time. Fat was about the celebration and not the murder, Fat got records that could have smashed plus he chose not to throw a audible around the track 9, he could have shook JA out MSG but he didn’t. They both won!
I agree with this 100%. They are friends from way way back. All that said, Ja still sounded amazing. I seen him in concert when I was a little kid & I remember thinking wow he sounds exactly like his recorded versions.
@@scarlet8078 IdK what JA been doing for 20 yrs other then the festival debacle but dude is in shape and look like he ready to still be recording like EMINEM. His catalog crosses so many thresholds and Fat does to! JA made me go to my Apple and re-download some records i forgot about! His early mixtape hood and gutty records were hitting me like i was back in the club in 98’
I don't understand why niggas can't see this he didn't pick Ja for a Verzuz and to put his homy on the stage to try to destroy him...clearly was tryna show people that Ja ran an era of rap and should be respected as that.
Why y’all actin like he gave ja the respect jas getting? Ja earned it, & took it.
He could've came harder, but blow him out the auditorium? No... Rule also showed hisself to be the better showman
HOT97 should be banned from recapping verzuz!!!! What they were saying is extremely bad for hiphop when you discredit are legends like em or not
Only one guy was biased
@@christianrapper No bull.. Shyt!!
then came out with "livin it up" after "all the way up"?= yeah ja rule did that SOLO! thats a true W!
Ja And Joe Was Both Winners..Versus Was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Glad To See Two Legends Go At It For The Culture ✊👊💯✌
A lot of people are confused, look versuz is about hits not rap lyrical n Joe don't have hits that are timeless so Joe would never have won nor matter what he comes with!!!

Only reason fat Joe was over confident is because of how bad the critics r on ja rule but hit for hit ja rule was light yrs ahead of fat Joe n I’m a fat Joe fan..This new generation don’t care if u sing they don’t care if u not street they just go with ur energy n the hits..ja rule couldn’t be canceled in this era..
JBP officially the pod for old niggas cause why we still talking about verzuz battles every time they happen
Fat Joe should of played “all I need” for the ladies. That would of got him 2 points odeee lmfaooo. But nah Ja is the Goat. He earned and deserved this win.

Nelly sounds like he smoke 25 backwoods before he came out..
I am still mad that ja rule ruined his own career by listening to 50 cents. He should have continued doing his thing.
don't put it on Ja Rule he did what he was supposed to do, he clapped back, it was on y'all.
@@spliffspark4918 that was on him. His fan base wasn’t worried about 50 cents. Ja rule was mainstream. His fans weren’t worried about 50 cents. Mainstream fans weren’t aware of 50 cents.
When the Feds came for Murda Inc they couldn't put out music. That's what really put an end to his career. 50 cent and them did damage but it wasn't over over til the Feds freezed all their assets
@@StayAlert_StayAlive I thought about that too.
@@spliffspark4918 JA went at Eminem and Dre for no Reason that was a big mistake
Damn they had they money on Joe lol even if Ja had played his hits without the PERFECT EXECUTION Ja still woulda won
Nah execution and stage presence matters. Winning verzuz is about more than just having hits.
@@NMAC27 It matters but not between Joe and Ja, maybe someone else Vs Ja, but with Joe it would've been an easy win regardless. Joe does not have as much hits as ja, not even songs that'll really make u bop. At one point ja was just sitting under the DJ booth letting the crown do it's thing! It was Effortless going against Joe. Like I said before, without the PERFECT EXECUTION Ja still had it in the bag effortlessly And it would be hard for anyone to go against Ja as stated by mostly everybody nobody wanted to go against him because his hits alone would've got the job done. I'm talking about Ja specifically not anyone else doing a verses! His hits alone gets the job done
I don't understand anybody picking Fat Joe over JaRule in terms of hits or performance. 🤷🏿♀️
Fat Joe vs Nore, would’ve been good
Bruh what 20 songs is Nore playing?
@@dtc8756 Are u crazy? Nore has joints. Solo, features and shit off that CNN album are classics bro

Nelly vs Ja
Lox vs Hot boys
Dipset vs TRU
Lox vs hotboyz??? Naw
@@YouGotOptions2 you must not been around for the hot boyz
@@livelifels2726 I was around for the hot boys but not enough for the lox. Mobb deep if prodigy was still here, hell even watching lox rap circles around g unit again would be entertaining. Dipset just wasn't on cue but they had the crowd popping it was good they just not as timeless as the lox
@@iprodigy6723 id put g unit vs the lox too. They probably would’ve blew the lox out the water cuz they got more commercial hits and they had lyrics. Banks and 50 would’ve brought a similar performance as jada imo. I also think 50 would be a whole lot more strategic than dipset was. Well dipset wasn’t strategic at all that’s why they lost. I think they were perfectly capable of putting up a way better fight if they had a plan.
new singles don't equal new hits. a new song out dont mean its a hit
He didnt play the " Go Crazy Remix"
There’s a lot more NY Verzuz out there… I’d like to see Fabolous vs. Lloyd Banks 🔥🔥
I agree, they bending the rules too much, same way Nelly shouldn't have played Hot in here
Fab already went against jadakiss
@@EFN_Hawks Jadakiss did 2 Verzuz so it could still be possible

That would be cool but...
Fat Joe kinda insinuated that in his recap. He didn't say it in so many words, but I got that from what he said

Fat Joe is lame asf to me after verzuz! Ja rule showed why he was the greatest during his time!!!
Joe Buddens I just subscribed I love this podcast with this new group way better then Before yall chemistry and how you orchestrate top notch keep up the good work
Dope Verzuz idea: Lloyd Banks vs Cassidy 👀
Would love to see them do a real battle though 🔥🔥🔥
I picked Ja from the jump. One of my reasons is I think Joe didn't like Pac,803
Ja Rule had the early 2000's on lock. Lets not forget
Where's the mop?!?! Hahahahahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People thought Joe was gonna win coz 50 won his beef
Jahdakiss is his name now 😂😂
I know Im 2 years late LOL but reading these comments have me rolling. Nobody though Joe woukd come out on top before or after the fact. Joe even said himself the only reason he did it was because no one wanted to go against Ja and he wanted Ja to get his flowers. Joe even knew he wasnt gonna win. Lmao Nelly was there for one reason and one reason only; Ashanti. Lol
Ja had it on lock for a bit but he fell off so hard that people forgot.
Who ever seen fat Joe being prepared and calculated for this would be sadly mistaken. Listen to fat Joe’s albums they’re all poorly calculated and horribly put together

Ja would kill Eminem or 50 in a battle aswell
Fat Joe has hits with R. Kelly, but he "can't" play those... Fat Joe thought he was gonna be the lox
If he had played "We Thuggin", that would've gotten him atleast 50 points!

Ja wasn't rapping over the vocals a lot, a few parts of the song the vocals would be on like the hooks but not the whole song. Fat joe was also rapping over the vocals and more so than Ja.
