Definitely repeating twice, these are your best videos to learn from. Saying a word or phrase, repeating twice and then directly to the next. Great videos
Thank you for going nice and slow. I also appreciate you repeating each word twice. I'm an absolute beginner and am glad to have found your channel. Subbed.
Twice please. More like this and with sentence examples using the words and telling us which case you are using! Thank you so much for your beautiful videos
I like your style and I don't know why... I don't wanna learn Russian with any teacher but you... Lots of Love... You are wonderful when you pronounce the words... Nastia Nastia Nastia...
To me, lessons like this are very useful. I personally use your lessons to work on pronunciation. Repeating twice gives me a chance to say the word with you to try and match your pronunciation exactly.
This is really helpful. Keeps us up with simple language. Twice is what I prefer. Once to hear what you say and again to try it myself. Yes keep making these videos. Useful to have a library of them to play a few every day to keep the learner up to speed with earlier vocabulary.
Thank you again, Nastya. I noticed Russians point with their chin to emphasize. I guess pointing with anything else is impolite. Americans point with our forehead, fingers, thumbs, and old men can even point with their eyebrows. When I learned to use my chin like a Russian I think it makes pronouncing Russian words much easier.
Thank you very much Nastya for this vid! About your question, without any doubt, I prefer you repeat twice the pronunciation of russian word. That helps to get two sounds, and learn it better.
Repeating twice is good. For the first time I look at the Russian Letters. For the second time I look at your mouth. In this way I learn the correct pronunciation.
Здравствуйте моя подруга. I have taken a little break from my Russian learning. It's easy to quickly forget what you've learned. The 2 A1 vocabulary lessons and the must know 100 verbs are very helpful to me now that I have the will to continue learning. I hope you and yours are healthy and safe with this short term craziness that is going on. Спасибо за помощь!!!!! Удачи!!!
Speaking one time is good. Two times also good. But if two times, speak slowly one time and speak normally the next time. For longer sentences, two times is very important. [postscript] I know almost all of these words, but with many mispronunciations. At least until item 40.
@@Russianlanguage I went through all the words. I spend perhaps 95% of my time, knowing how to go from Russian to English. But less than 5% of the time going from English to Russian. Maybe it is much more difficult and so I avoid it.
good video. I will be watching all of your videos... every single one. Please repeat twice in English and Russian so I can listen to it while doing other things. But I mostly watch the videos too. Other people's videos go too fast and say it only once so it's hard to remember the words.
Nice job Nastya! keep it up! I was also wondering if you know a fairy tail or any other material where we could practice all this A1 russian vocabulary... Thamks for your videos by the way, they are so helpful! greetings from argentina!
Good day my favorite teacher Nastya, I follow your videos regularly, I found them very useful. Yet, I have a suggestion or rather a request to make to you. Please Nastya, try to speak in Russian only or, at least, mostly. This helps us to improve our listening and vocabulary in Russian. I have a list of UA-cam teachers who speak only in Russian, or they do not use English but rarely. I can mention teachers like: Anastasia Semina, Ira, Tatiana Klimova, Stanislav Chernyshov, Maria Petrova, Olga Geral, Max, etc. This monolingual method, to teach Russian through Russian itself, helps the learner to improve his knowledge about the language. The bilingual method may help the begginers, but not the intermediate nor the advanced students, for this reason, I suggest that you make videos only, or at least mostly, in Russian. Or mix up the two methods, one for the beginners and the other one for the intermediate and advanced learners.
I think twice is better in case the student misses how it's done the first time it gives a second chance to hear it again without having to back the video up.
Awesome! Thank you so much for this. I watch a lot of youtube channels for learning the Russian language but I have to say that I wish I had discovered your channel earlier. This must have taken so much effort on your behalf and the format of the videos is (IMO) perfect. Lastly, just as a bit a fun, I'll share my technique for trying to remember new words. I try to use the picture you give to make some connection with English or another language. For example, носить - it's like nose and eat.. and your picture has a girl wearing a face mask to cover her nose and mouth (which you eat with). Another is ужинать - the man is sitting down at the table and says to his wife "oooh жена (wife), this is so tasty". I'd love to hear if anybody else uses this technique and if you can share yours?
I am your new subscriber although i started learning russian on my own through duolingo. But i would like to know how long it will take for an individual to reach C1 level?
Yes , we want more of this video ..how about the grammmatical cases ? I can't write in Russian because I don't know the basic cases ..I know that each verb has its own distribution but grammar cases are so important .
Hey first of all I am so glad I am watching this video again and again and I have learned so much to be completely honest it’s so useful I am truly grateful but let me know what is the exit time to learn advanced level Russian I hope you will reply me soon and thanks for the lesson may god give you long life I wish you all the best✌️
It depends on the context. There is a context when you can use only только and there is a context where you can use only просто. Я съел только одну конфету. I ate just one candy. Я просто устал. I am just tired.
More than twice, but repeat syllable per syllable please. I don’t know where the stress is or which letters are silent. It is hard for my brain to pronounce words with many consonants together. Yes, I am definitely a beginner. A0
Repeat once please, shorter pauses. This is a vocab lesson :) A type people get impatient. If I need time; _I_ pause; if I struggle with prounciation _I_ re-play... I do not think you need to cater for the slowest person in the room (often that is me!)

I agree with you! Thank you for watching😊

Repeating twice is good 🙂
Also, when you said часы it sounded like "чисы"
Thank you! Yes, after soft consonants in the first pre-stressed syllable we read А as И = Часы (чисы)
