  • This is system test 7. The Honeyweil S464A pull isn't working right, since I just installed a replacement switch, but the switch is too big.

    Similar to the fire alarm at my elementary school. Sounded like that, but Code 3. Was not to be confused with the Auxiliary Bell, primarily for signaling the custodians, and was not as loud and rang more quickly. I used to always cover my ears when we were in the hall since I was afraid that bell could ring anytime.

    Yours must be a newer model; mine is from 1984. I fixed this one and sold it, and got two more S464A's (one is the old style and one is newer)

    Idk why people don’t get that fire alarm panels have backup batteries In them in case of blackouts!

  • @Max_Zalapa

    I think the panel is running on batterys so that’s why it’s still on

  • @skyboundch
    @skyboundch 11 років тому

    he still tested because he had a battery ( i think ) that powers the panel and alarms through the wire

    Is there something about fire alarm collectors that people HAVE to assume they're autistic? (I'm not, by the way) It's ignorant people like you who give conditions like autism a terrible stereotype.
