- hopped back on infinite for the first time in like 9 months to play the new pit remake. actually hit some decent snipes even though i'm super rusty

Im telling you if they would make a "classic map" rotation the game would have a MAJOR comeback.
it'll happen sooner than you think with forge...the community is turning out decent maps, and they'll get better
Just add them in, and replace the mediocre ones they've added over time. The original maps that are still in ranked are all very solid.
If 343 Industries want to succeed they should stick to the following two rules.
(1) If 343 Industries think something sounds like a good idea, it probably isn't, so don't implement it.
(2) Try to resemble Halo 3 and what Bungie made the game.
They need to fix the maps to cater with halo infinite movement and sandbox.

The sheer frustration at 10:39 cracked me up.
Say what you want about this game, but the sound design is killer.
Here's a cool fact and I seem to be the only one to talk about this. If you stand in the middle of the map Streets, and wait long enough, you can actually hear a feral cat screech. It's like a rare sound though so you gotta hang out a bit

I dunno. Many of the classic weapons have lost their iconic sounds in place of the “realism” crowd. Give me the old sniper bullet sounds any day.

What components does your pc have so that it can run Halo Infinite at more than 200 fps?

The update made it run better on PC, so I don't quite think you'll need specific components to get it to 200 fps
Don't need a super crazy PC for it, I have an 11th Gen i5 and an RTX 3060Ti, and I have always gotten 200+ fps on 1080p with maxed out graphical settings

I like the direction 343 took halo. Similar but different to the OG games. Halo 5 as well but infinite really nailed the visuals and audio.

Always gotta make sure you kill the whole team 5 times before you start running the flag of course
I'm curious what settings you enabled to get 200+ fps and what GPU you have. My RTX 3070 with this game only gets around 90-110 fps on medium-high settings.

does anybody else feel like the red shade over the enemies is really offputting? I can't believe how different they made this compared to the golden game halo 3. It's a world of difference. Really all they had to do to make old halo fans happy was halo 3 but bigger. But nooOOOOoooo.
This version of the map looks a lot crappier. And that's kind of amazing
they worked so hard for that one cap it was admirable. this map is just really good for your playstyle.

Genuine question, where does infinite rank among popularity between CE, H2, H3, H4 and Reach? MCC seems really popular still especially on H2 and H3 playlists but I’m curious where Infinite fits in, especially compared to H4 and Reach - were these two generally deemed as flops and H3 was/is still the benchmark?
H3 was and still is the benchmark. Community went from 1 mill concurrent players to 500k in 2011 when Reach beta came out. Ive been playing for 20 years. I still just play 3 to scratch the Halo itch. Id say rn for population its H3, Reach, H2, H4 CE tied and 5 and infinite tied.
