Granting Christmas Wishes to Homeless Veterans and Their Families!
Most people want the newest cell phone or gadget for Christmas, and it’s easy to forget there are millions of people who can’t afford the basic necessities like a warm meal or gifts for their loved ones and kids on Christmas.
So I decided to go out and channel my inner santa and grant some Christmas wishes for homeless veterans and their families.

Ikr I always dreamed of giving money to homeless people. And getting food. I remember this one time me and my dad went to get icecream I saw a homeless man sitting by so I gave him it instead when I was in kindergarten I feel so proud for doing that. And As now I'm getting older I been helping people.
I actually gave a homeless man a cheeseburger and a bottle of water one day. Honestly one of the best feelings.

I honestly don't think they did.
I don't want to be rude, because their intentions were nice.
But when you bike, the absolute 'highest' your leg should be is on the same line as your hip. (and preferably much lower)
That kid got a bike that was too small for him, his knees reached the steeringwheel.
The intentions were kind, but he will enjoy that bike for a month or two, at the most.
If I were them, I would've given him a bigger bike, so he could slowly grow into the height he needed.
Also, I think a plain bike would've been better than spiderman.
Brands are more expensive, if you didn't pick a brand (Marvel) you could've spend more money on a proper bike.
This coming from a Dutchie that knows more about bikes than I should.

I know you could tell what size it is, but if you’re buying a bike then, obviously whoever is going to use it is going to test, if they were there when they bought the bike, but this was just him basing it, on his height, which you can’t tell when your testing the bikes. let’s be real here, the bike really doesn’t matter. Its just a bike, i know it enternains the kid with the way he lives. And for the other people, he probably just bought thr biggest shirt size, so they can use it forever. If the bike is where he only messed up, i don’t think he even messed up.

Well, I'd argue it was a shame he got the most expensive one and didn't get it a size bigger, just in case.
I mean, the kid could've been riding around on it and enjoying it for longer...it's not 'just a bike" it's exercise and enjoyment.
I once lost my bike when it got stolen, it was 2 weeks before I got a new one. I was so upset during those two weeks, because (at the least here in the Netherlands) bicycles are a part of life.
I think they could've played safe and bought a big bike, at the least a bigger bike than one that he doesn't fit on nów.
Waist-height is a good measurement bytheway, if it's above his hips, it's likely a good height for a saddle.
I feel so bad for the kids that are homeless in the world because I’m a kid but I live in a big and nice house but seeing those kids breaks my heart ❤️ 😭

I saw a homeless woman outside a restaurant, when I was little though so she looked starved and she wasn’t a beggar at all. My mom asked me if I wanted to give my cookie to her. So I did, we bought her so many things but we could never find her. I hope where ever she is she is doing good and I wish I could have gave her more things.

When I was homeless I always appreciated these kinds of people. Random acts of kindness go a long way.
I've been homeless a couple times, one year in Salt Lake City they did a giant water slide down the city streets for the kids. It was amazing.

I'm mexican, my little sister has leucemia, a good treatment is really expensive and my family had really bad economic problems because of it, so we lived in the streets for some time until an asociation helped my parents with the treatment.
People never made something so kind for us, so watch this is absolutly heartwarming.
I can't wait for work hard for give everything back to my parents and help the most people I can.
