Tommy would still be living in the dream SMP main land if Dream was like that. He was exiled far away because dream wouldn't let him be on the main damp land. Otherwise, it's a really great video ^-^

Like the video said, Dream didn’t know that Tubbo will exile him(Tommy) and he didn't have a plan on what to do. So he bringed Tommy where he(Dream) lives and Tommy will live there in one of the Guest Room or something(the story is still in working progress) So yeah. Anything that happened on Dream smp Exile is not canon in this AU
