Mixing a Minimal House Track From Start to Finish [Ableton Live 11]

- In this video, I record myself mixing a minimal house track from start to finish. Hopefully, this demystifies the mixing process.
80% of mixing is setting the levels. If your levels for all the channels are set correctly, then you're most of the way there.
The rest of the 20% is making sure frequencies don't clash, taming or increasing dynamics and setting the reverb and delay.

Thanks bro!
Nice video. Great track too. When is this coming out?
Thank you! The EP will be coming out end of the month or maybe beginning of may. Ill post the link when it drops
Hi Durosai, how do you prepare for the mixing? Do you always mix on the audio tracks and start setting levels from 0db on each track? I assume that earlier while arranging you had already some setting levels done.
If im mixing my own song, then i just mix it within the project, i dont bounce all the stems to audio. I only do this when im receiving stems from someone.
But i know people who bounce out the stems for their own productions too. So theres no wrong approach, just depends on your preference
@@Durosai thanks!
Do you not use saturation in the mixing process?
Sometimes i do, not always. I used some saturation here with the drum buss plugin
Where do you live bro???
