Edit 1/3/23: Backing track is taken down. I took it down as multiple people were not crediting me for covers, etc. One user straight up reuploaded this video on their channel even. I'm grateful our work has brought joy to people, it means alot; but all I ask in return is credit. It says it above the links to them, and every folder has a notepad asking politely to do so. These tracks are performed, arranged (despite asking others for transcription help I do make my own alongside them) and mixed by me, it's more work than it sounds. Thank you for reading.

Haven't seen the show yet. But fell in love with the song upon first listen. This was an impulse cover. Wulan did amazing here!!
I tried to be a teenie bit lazy with this one. I transcribed half, and copy and pasted the second half-- leaving out the final harp part.
Then reached out to Eduardo for help; he does amazing work! However, he literally did what I did, and left out part of the final harp part too.

Despite the anime’s quality, I still love the ost but especially this song. So beautiful.
I still haven't seen the show yet. Heard mixed things about it. But the ost is what made me curious about it ✌
Well, the anime is fine for me i guess. Not masterpiece or something but it was a good ride. But yeah, Yuki Kajiura always produce great music in general.
The anime was ok. It just had alot of plot things that never went anywhere (like kei apparently being dangerous) and a fushed ending.
It was upsetting that it had so much potential but couldn’t reach it, but at least its soundtrack was pretty top notch.

This is a vocal technique called *Melisma*... Yuki Kajiurago is a composer, she can't create a language..
The Melisma technique is used by other singers all around the world like Enya on Lord of the Rings Lisa Gerard on Gladiator movie(Now we are free) even Cirque Du Soleil uses this technique in their shows...
It's not a language...
With this technique the singers uses some vocal of a language(it can be any language, french, hebrew, latín, english, spanish, japanese) and they become the silables into sounds, they only uses silables instead a complete word, this is because the composer wants to move emotions through sounds instead of giving a meaning through words...
This technique is very old, it was commonly used in Gregorian Chants on churches because people didn't understand the latín language but priest wanted people feel an emotion through devotion
@@pvm3363 We did do research. The information is taken from several interviews with the legend herself. She composes with random syllables then forms proper words for her singers to perform with. As time went on she constructed the language as a way to ease their work.
And composers can 100% create languages for their songs.
The Games: Nier, Drakengard, Indivisible, Voice of Cards, and it's sequel. to name a few have constructed (made up) languages for their song lyrics.
Furthermore; techniques don't mean language sung or spoken. Techniques are the way in which said language is delivered.

Her constructed language is "Kajiurago." --Again, research ;)

And the "many bell sounds" are sleigh bells. I layered them with shakers, and hand cymbals to add texture in this cover. I believe the original just uses shakers and hand cymbals-- I just preferred the sleigh bell sounds.
Lastly, this song does have an actual English translation if you wanna use that for your writing:
