@@Kaliphate Actually, this is the Wagakki Band arrangement of Senbonzakura, a vocaloid song by Kurousa-P featuring Hatsune Miku.
@@Kaliphate the original is vocaloid, Wagakki band covered it. If youd been a fan for long enough youd have know they cover lots of vocaloids, they even have a concert where they only sing covered vocaloid songs

@@genovaexaldia6687 This is what got me into learning Japanese the music was often more memorable than the anime. Plus there seems to be a wider variety of good songs. Just glad there is a alternative.

It's a great song. The original is popular there are many popular covers.
her voice is powerful but is shaky, needs work on her breathing and she should learn to keep her voice more stable. There were several parts where her tone is off, she'd make a great singer if she has proper guidance

Did anyone mention this is, unlike any other "worldwide singing show franchise", RAW SOUND?! I mean, usually we hear so much after effects that it is almost impossible to catch the voice behind "autotune" they do for us, TV viewers. And IMHO, those "perfect-ized" shows kill the idea. This one is much more A-Live and I loved it! Many thanks to this girl and to all of Japanese honest people and culture, this is what our world needs the most today!❤
Japanese like natural voices as they can make but if its live should be live thats why its raw and you can hear even the Breathe on Japanese music or Jpop you can hear everything their breath and how they change their voice, to western countries and westernised countries doesn't like that cuz they like more autotune o post process music and voice making singers like god almost.
Can't say for all talent shows all over the world, but... I'm from Poland, and in our version of The Voice the sound seems unedited too, but it's mixed like a proper concert performance - with relatively lots of reverb (at least some of it is natural as it's filmed in a large studio with live audience), likely some dynamics compression, and overall balanced with the band.
This version feels much more "raw" because it has almost no reverb (filming in a relatively small studio helps with that) and the vocals are VERY forward in the mix compared to the band. That's why it feels much more "intimate", but TBH, IMO it gives the mix a bit of a "karaoke-ish" feel. It's good for critical listening to the contestants' performances, but... well, it's a bit too closed-in to my taste. I prefer the "concerty" feel of the Polish version, even though it hides some imperfections of the performances.
That has nothing to do with this performance by Nakano-san, of course. I may not love the way the production team handled sound engineering, but her vocals are just superb :)
@@MitaroZ that's exactly the case! How can you build your favour to anyone when all you hear is "angel-singing"?!
@@kFY514 most of them are, but judges usually hear more "clear" vocals to make a decision. Why don't we get the very same sound? Simply because we straw for perfection to vote for. I've been to some live shows with incredible sound where it's needed to make crowd "flow after". And this is incredible actually, to be able to make the sound great "on the go", I have nothing to complain here. But for competition, I personally prefer as natural as possible. Most of the viewers would be disappointed to hear real voices though...
