Lion: Mistaken Identity?

Lion is one of the most beloved of all British preserved locomotives - hers is a true 'Cinderella Story' from humble goods loco, to stationary pump, to 1950s film star. But despite this popularity, is the locomotive known to thousands as Lion actually Lion?
For four years renowned Railway Historian Anthony Dawson carried out indepth archival research and made an archaeological examintion of the locomotive, component by component. Some of his work is presented here, asking the question: Is Lion really Lion? Well, the answer may surprise you.
