Some traps to consider: Different Dimension Ground - It's like a trap version of D-Shifter, very good for going first Jar Of Avarice - Searchable draw one and GY recycle Waking The Dragon - Run with Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon to make your opponent second guess blowing up your backrow if it's not protected Gravedigger's Trap Hole - Negates hand traps and hand effects while doing a decent chunk of burn damage Crush Card Virus/Eradicator Epidemic - Extremely strong hand removal If anyone else has some more obscure normal traps worth running I would love if you could list them in the comments. Thank you.
If you don’t have Lord of the Heavenly Prison, Dark Sacrifice is a good alternative. If your opponent goes to destroy your backrow, you can negate it and send a dark monster to grave. You could go for Back Jack off of that and do his thing, or if you run Lilith and have the field spell up, you can send her and then have the field spell summon her out so she can do her thing.
Other normal traps to consider: Battle of the Elements: Activate only while all monsters are face-up. Both players send monsters to the GY so that they both control only 1 attribute. (This affects the players so this may not count as removal by trap effect.) Overcapacity: When your opponent SS a monster: banish all face-up LV 2 or lower monsters. (Splight matchup.) Big Burn: You can only activate this card when your opponent activates a card that specifically designates a monster in the GY. Remove all monsters in both players GYs from play. Jelly Cannon: When a monster declares an attack: target 1 monster on the field; shuffle it into the deck. Dimensional Prison: When an opponent's monster declares an attack: target that attacking monster; banish that target.
Jelly Cannon is a even greater choice if you're running Labrynth Barrage. Because if you activate Jelly Cannon and your opponent has 2 or more monsters abd no targeting protection. You can activate Barrage if they have no response to Jelly Cannon, and basically target another monster for removal.
The deck is cool, I really enjoy trap decks. Been messing around a bit: I'm playing lava golems, you can discard with Quick hand effect, or revive them by the field. Also running "Terrors of the Overroot", is a pretty strong card and a nice call against some meta decks. Imperm is pretty good, because they can be used as hand-trap and also be setted again by Silver Castle, even doesn't remove a monster. Compulsory Evacuation Device is really good because you can even bounce your small labrynth monster and triggers other effects, plus normal summon them again next turn. (Or even lava golems!)
@@rajprab1138 also test out Phoenix Wing Wind Blast (great synergy with Back Jack), Gamma (great bait when using the Labrynth hand effects), and Ultimate Slayer for board removal.
@@Good_Ol_Mr_Troll honestly compulse to remove without them hitting the GY or IDP. If you revive their monster performing the fusion, they lose the fusion, even if you don't get the banish
Fiendish Rhino is another good addition and Archfiend Heiress is also something that can even search Archfiend Ghastly Glitch. Another thing to keep in mind is that Labrynth Labirynth can revive Bagooska if it ever gets sent to the GY after. I'm planning to work this along with the Ishizu cards coming out and I can tell you, you have so many ways to play during your opponent's turn. This archetype is by far my favorite since the kinds of builds you can work with is huge thanks to the general pool of normal trap cards.
I think this is really nice but I would like to share a few things about the deck: For combos, if you have a duplicate trap and Arianna in hand, it would be better to search for chandelier or stove to set welcome since you can recure the small ones during your opponent's turn. Additionally, When using King Back Jack with one of the two servants on the field, I recommend to put lady/furniture 2ed on the stack since the servants can summon them to the field after drawing them, same applies to multiple traps on the top. Lastly, I think torrential can be back for the deck since you want your monsters on field and it's removes all of the monster on field (Unless you have the field spell) which doesn't help the strategy. I know others have pointed out that you can play Terrors of the Overroot since it's really strong into this meta and in general since it can remove and set any cards, this includes continuous spells and traps.
Was going to immediately assume it was garbage since i've never heard of it and I usually know cards that are competitive right off the top of my head, but this card is actually potentially good in the deck. Farfaing 2 monsters is definitely not bad by any means.
I ordered the remaining Labrynth cards I needed after grabbing a couple at my local card shop. I've been thinking about running this with Unchained since Unchained can also be backrow heavy.
I've been putting a small traptrix engine in with my Labrynths, to great effect. Sera synergizes so well with the Labrynths, it's ridiculous. I can't wait to see what new support the Traptrix SD has to offer.
Love this deck I have found that I end up making goddess of the closed world alot in this deck and between the field spell stovie and your two servants you can end up with alot of material and it removes a problem monster for you and she is a fiend so welcome doesn't lock u out of her
I REALLY feel like there is a massive oversight in not maindecking at least 1 Eradicator Epidemic Virus. You can tribute Lovely Labrynth for the cost and then with Labrynth Labyrinth you can get Lovely Labrynth back. Then you can set it again with Lovely and repeat this to completely destroy every single spell/trap in your opponents deck.
Some spicy tech I havnt seen mentioned here is Terrors of the Overroot. Target a card your opp controls and 1 card in their GY; Send the card on field to gy and set the card in gy to field. HOPT. Send a problematic monster to GY and give them something useless. Say, send a monster then give them a trap card they can't use.
@@alexgarciafantauzzi5031 the lightning is off but it is a secret. You can see it when he moves it away to put the next cards on screen. Its kinda hard to differentiate but it also says 21 not 22 on the card

Crazy the amount of people sleeping on a main decked dimensional barrier in this, do you know what's strong currently, telling the Tear player they cant fusion turn zero. my personal tech for the deck currently is starlight road, game 2 and 3 you've basically begged them to side in the harpies, twin twisters and lightning storms they might have been siding for Mine decks, starlight gives you protection form at least 2 activations of what could be game ending cards
my build is slightly different then what some people are doing cause I'm going with a fusion use to thin out the deck with out drawing i think it's going to work NOTE ( it not competitive it's just fun gimmicks )

What I would love to see is a duel between Nishi (Labrynth) vs TomBox (Vaylantz). It would be a perfect way to showcase some cool new archetypes :)

Both decks are not good at all when runick won the best deck out the set
