    Thank you for your insight on intentional consumption. This video is a breath of fresh air in a world full of comparisons. I adore the socks from the Muji brand. Their stationery and snacks are quite the standout as well. The video pacing is enjoyable; keep it up.

    I recently purchased Muji easy pants made of 100% and I'm in love with it. They are so comfortable and versatile enough to be styled in multiple ways.

      That's great. And what I tend to do with my purchases, as well. Love being able to wear most of my clothes with each other.

    The Muji Labo stuff are really nice. I didn't pick up the jacket simply because it has velcro, but the other garments are really good quality!

      Yeah, I hadn't heard of that line before somebody mentioned it in the comment section here. I wasn't able to find any recent items from that line. Do they still make it?

    ngl muji is top tier when it comes to good quality without being pricey, timeless design and color very demure i would say... hahaha! finally, someone's taking their time to discuss about this brand, check out their stationery sections and you'll be surprised by the quality...

      Exactly. I never paid it much attention until recently and I was very pleasantly surprised. Their stationary is top notch, indeed.

    Muji can't have the variety that Uniqlo does. They might make a couple of items that are nice, but Uniqlo has the power to outsource manufacturing to factories that they see as a match with their own specs .

    • @jimmywearsclothes
      @jimmywearsclothes  12 днів тому +1

      That's very fair. After all, Uniqlo is exclusively a clothing brand, where Muji is not really seen as one. I mean, heck, they have furniture, F&B and all sorts of other stuff, haha. Which is why I was so surprised to find a lot of their stuff actually being well made with most of them using natural fabrics.

      @jimmywearsclothes I saw a few shirts that looked nice at Muji. I'll have to try them. For science of course. 😁

    If you like MUJI clothing, you might want to check their Labo collection, which is a more premium line.

      Not too big of a routine. I don't use any hair products. I just blow dry after shower and that's about it. :)

    100% Muji outshines Uniqlo. I used to love Uniqlo and still own sweatshirts and hoodies I've had for over a decade but in the last 5/10 years or so the quality has completely dropped off a cliff. Muji's quality to price ratio ion the other hand is excellent. The only downside is that in UK most of their stores only carry a very limited rage. This means if you want the full range you need to order online or shlep up to their Oxford Street branch.

    • @jimmywearsclothes
      @jimmywearsclothes  2 дні тому

      I've been very impressed with Muji. But also, not denying that Uniqlo has some quality pieces at the same time. To be fair, I'm not a huge Uniqlo customer - I mostly get their socks and have been okay with them, haha.
      I do get the same issue in Lisbon, Portugal. It's a tiny Muji store. Back in Copenhagen, they have a MASSIVE store and a much larger selection.

    An advice, get those items from a store and show them in your video, not just screenshots from the site. It is boarder line lazy, you could even return these clothes after making the content. Do you know how many clothes in real life are different from their pictures on the site? If you can’t understand how many clothes people have to return after blindly buying them these days, then maybe you shouldn’t make these videos.

    • @seabw
      @seabw 9 днів тому

      To be clear, you as a content creator, it is perfectly ok to buy these clothes and return them after making a video. These big brands can afford it, and actually happy influencers promoting their products as well. But if you just keep showing images of those items, I am sorry most of these items are likely to be disappointments.

    • @jimmywearsclothes
      @jimmywearsclothes  2 дні тому +2

      Hey, thanks for dropping by. I'll accept the criticism. But saying that I shouldn't create videos, just because I haven't bought the items I highlight in the video is a bit short-sighted, cruel and unnecessary, in my opinion.
      If you're looking for advice on online shopping - stick to a couple (or a few) brands you've shopped from or already have items from. This will form your perception on their sizing compared to your usual measurements and therefore make it a lot less likely you'll have to return things.
      I'm not sure how purchasing the clothes and showing them in my video would have helped you here as we're likely very different in size, proportions and personal preferences.
      Either way, thanks for your comment. :)

      @@jimmywearsclothes btw dude, u said u have the muji collar jacket. I'm thinking of getting the exact one, thats how i got to ur video lol. My main concerns with it were how warm it can actually keep you. Also, I wanted to know more about the tuck-in hoodie, is it thin, or thick enough that its worth it existing? Also did u find that ur usual sizing matched with the muji coat size, or that it was too tight or large? Thanks bro

  • @Sturnburn772
    @Sturnburn772 12 днів тому +4

    to each their own. I do think Muji quality is better but their pieces just aren't designed as well as uniqlo imo. Uniqlo designers are far more talented. Look at uniqlo U collections currently and of the past and compare it to Muji. Muji just looks plain and to be frank, boring in comparison.

    • @jimmywearsclothes
      @jimmywearsclothes  2 дні тому +1

      That's fair enough. And I do share the same sentiment. Uniqlo offers trendier pieces and they do keep their pulse on the fashion zeitgeist. In contrast, Muji sticks to their Japanese silhouettes and I can understand how those can be perceived as boring by some. :)
