@@AndcRew14414if you look at the part of the video where he installs the video the wide cable clip next to the front tires looks to be where you charge the battery. You just take off the car frame and charge

First off, you are awesome. I’ve always really enjoyed watching your videos and I’ve wanted to try making a hot wheels drift car myself but was never sure how to start. I’m 23 and I just had total hip replacement in my left hip and will be getting my right hip done in 6 weeks so I’ll be laid off work for a while and your tls1002 kit looks like the perfect project to keep me from going insane through my endless hours of sitting and physical therapy. Keep up the good work!

I actually wanted to do that after I realized the RC8X radio can be used as an fpv screen; but maybe a different vehicle this time!
@tlsgarage is it possible to use the kit on 1/64 ecto 1 ghostbusters car? Its the only car i wish to get as a mini rc..but i do realize the car is a bit longer (cadillac ambulance) in size..
I like to see you do one with an old school Stomper that ran on 1 AA battery. It wouldve been cool to be able to control it. Basically right up same alley cover came off had rubber tires, headlights. They shouldve took it to the next level.

Your using a different transmitter than in the link and the transmitter you’re using is way more expensive so would the cheaper one that you put into the link work fine if I build one of those tiny cars like you?

is the receiver R4FGM can bind to another transmitter? (I mean another brand beside radiolink itself)

What do you recommend for a complete beginner who wants to start in this art? (When the worldwide shipping opens)
I wish he would sell complete kits, with EVERYTHING included, instead of just few parts and leaving ppl to figure the rest out themselves....
I recommend learning about larger RC cars and the components that make them work, like batteries, ESCs, transmitter and receivers, etc.
Then I would recommend getting good at general diecast customization. Once you have a grasp of those, you can move on to using a frame like this to setup a micro RC.
@@JokerInk-CustomBuildsI feel like you are steady throwing shade when its kind of unnecessary. Ive put way more effort than most into helping people make these things, I sell most electronics on my website, and I have in depth write ups on my website for those who need it spelled out for them. Not much else I can do for ya man.

I could build this from scratch if I really wanted to spend as much time on it as you...
But sometimes I enjoy just assembling a kitcar that comes complete with all parts so I don't have to spend time doing alot of research into what parts can fit and be modified to use...
Scratchbuilding and kitbuilding is two different things for me... so I am even annoyed when rc brands are selling kits without certain parts....
I just think it is nice with a compelet package with everything needed...
-But don't take it wrong. Just take it as an idea for future products!

Hey TLS I was wondering when you expect the TLS1002 Frame kit to be back in stock. Because I ordered mine back in September and I just finished receiving the rest of the parts for my rc car and the frame kit is the last thing I need before I build the car itself.

Would the geared motors still work with this frame? I ordered the geared motor with this frame and I’m now thinking it may not work lol
I do think it will work fine if you are alright with rigging stuff up. Ill probably make an RC soon with the geared motor. In the end the geared motor is better, its just the dual shaft is less work to setup!

Can we get one built for raw speed and not drifting?
The f1 I made is pretty quick. The problem with speed is its hard to film at top speed without practically destroying the car/paint, at least for me lol.

I will not sell a kit where everything is included for many reasons, mainly due to the fact that this is a small hobby and FCC testing is about $10k to make a kit with electronics included.
I try to keep stock of most necessary electronics when I can, but honestly those who are cut out to build one of these should have no problem finding everything on their own. As an analogy, consider it like I dont sell prebuilt PCs, but rather I sell custom gaming PC cases for other PC builders to use when they build their own custom PC.
@@TLSGarage ok. Didn't think you would need tests when reselling brand electronics... but I get what you are saying... but a list of matching parts would be a great help at least...🤗
@@JokerInk-CustomBuilds separately, I can sell FCC approved items, but when multiple different items are intended to be put together to create a new electronic, the FCC considers that to need testing as a new item.

AMAZING!!! I would like to know about the battery that was used on the car. What is it?
It was a 1c 40mah lipo! But honestly, those are hit or miss. Sometimes I order one and it lasts minutes, some fail in like 30 seconds. I like to use an 80/100mah when I have the room
