Explanation: as soon as you land on a platform as the ball then you lose your buffer, which is why you may have noticed that the ball parts have a lot of jump pads so that the ball doesn’t land on any platforms and the buffer is not lost. I imagine this also goes for other game modes that makes you lose your buffer once you land on a platform as them. I might be wrong so don’t kill me, just trying to help with what I’ve understood from this video
23:56 I just tested this You do lose the click as the ball once it is able to change gravity - it does change gravity then and it counts as you finished your click In deadlocked here author made it so you're not able to change gravity as a ball (you don't touch solid blocks) and since you don't ever change gravity you don't 'finish' that click and everything works

I’ve actually made 2 levels using this hold to complete technique myself called “Hold to complete” and “The impossible level”. I’m glad to see EVW do a video on this.

The reason why you liked can't let go so much is because it wasn't made by the creator you played it from, you played a copy of the level. The original level was called "Hold Let Go"
One click cycles does exist now, and, when u get to ball, portal just says nah and straight up leaves. how these people do it, i dont know. Edit: there is somehow now a one click version of every main level, played em all, most are cool.
I haven't actually played them but I think that putting 'hold' instead of 'one click' gives pretty much the same results, and the other levels are there too

I'm creating some one click levels. My first is called 'Stereo Holdness' Update from yesterday: I have made a new level called Hold Through Tracks. It’s been 3 months and I’ve made the first six levels now.
For those who don’t know, you do lose your buffer in UFO and ball, but only if you touch the ground, if your only touching the pads you don’t lose it, same with the robot!
Actually that specific 1 click jumper was not the first one! The first one that I know of so far for sure is the one click back on track but it's probably the one click stereo madness but it could be the one click polergeist. The level id for one click back on track was 62596515. You didn't show the one click stereo madness id or the one click polergeist id so I'll look at it soon. The one click dry out id was 62973938. The one click base after base id was 64882200. The one click let go id was 66993389. And the one click jumper id was 64920202.
I usually just try to find random images that look off trying to find them in my fridge and put them over Patrick Patrikios music for youtube videos as of rihght now

anytime you switch portals, as long as there's a jump pad, or other way of jumping, you can still be jumping even when you were on spider, ufo, ball or robot.
I like to think that someone at some point thought that these were just the real game levels (the RopTop made levels) and spent like an hour trying to figure it out.
I think for the buffer because of what happened in the Deadlocked one click I think it might only stop if the ball touches the ground Because I don't think the ball touched the ground in that level

With all those fakes and unpredictable jumps, I think we can all agree that evw is one of the greatest.
You only lose the buffer in ball if you actually use the buffer during ball, it just did pads to avoid inputs
There are hold levels in Geometry Dash. Although some of them may need you to stop holding down the button.
