@@NaikMedia Yeah it was! We always shoot in 4k, but in reality clients watch it mostly in 1080p, and the downsample image is so sharp clients can't tell anyway.
…or why I sold my Canon. This carnival of decisions was creative paralysis. A god awful headache to remember. Always wrong for what was happening in front of me. Wrong for when the action changes in the one shot. Always a chore to change and why 9 out of 10 shots were unusable. Thanks for reminding me of how much confidence I was robbed of. I particularly love the skip to page 2 cos it erases page 1 tip early in the vid. Classic Canon gaslighting. They need to sack their engineers, look at the Blackmagic menu system and rehire. Action is fluid, moving. Canon needs to lose this engineering mindset. It cripples us. Thanks for your video. My scars are my own.
@@NaikMedia I spent a solid 6 months doing deep dives on how to get the best out of my Canon. When the Canon expired from heat exhaustion I was able to loan out a BM 6K. Oh. Man. My main purpose is impromptu shooting - in blistering daylight beachside, nightclub street scenes and interior activities. A walk to get coffee will have half a dozen very cool scenes to capture with only seconds to respond. I do from sling bag to recording in under 10 seconds. The thing I love about it is just how much confidence it gives me knowing that it’s designed to get it right. All the tools to make corrections are under your fingers. It has never made me second guess myself. It turned me from a hybrid shooter into a story teller. I think systems that get too entrenched can hold us back more than we realise. A topic for another video. Regards.
