Your videos are THE most helpful and informative that I’ve seen ! I consider myself almost a pro on succulents and I’ve still learned a few things from your videos. Such as the deep pot thing everyone talks about. I love your accent too . Can you do a video about sedum dasyphyllum? I’ve had the center of mine die off at the top . But the roots are healthy and there are some healthy stems without leaves left . Will the dead center with healthy roots regrow any top growth or should I remove the dead center ? I’d remove it without question if the roots weren’t so healthy. Seems I read somewhere that the roots of some sedums will regrow top growth after it dies back . So I don’t want to waste the opportunity to have them regrow if they can . I’ve clipped off all the dead parts from the top . Thank you !

Thanks so much! 😊 That’s made my day & so glad the vids are helpful. Yup S Dasyphyllum is on the list. I’m just waiting for it to flower so i can record it. My dasyphyllum flower and die off mostly, then they come back in autumn. Seems like they don’t like growing when hot..🥵

Thank you :) I think you are right and they are the same. I've seen the raspberry ice and schichikusksi in a friends nursery and they just look identical to a stressed elegans. I've grown elegans that match their colours and think it may be a bit of a con. I think i'll make a video on this as there have been instances where stressed succulents have been passed off as new hybrids. It can get wild out there 😅

@@SucculentGrowingTips Thank you so much for replying. Appreciate it. And the so called hybrids are sold at a very steep price. And the worst part is to realise u brought the same succulent as in home settings u cant stress them as in a nursery.

Flapjack : Can I take leaves propagation? Or what the best way to do. Thank You. Newcastle AU

You can do both with flapjacks. I like to propagate offsets as the leaves sometimes do not come up for me, but definitely possible 🙂
