- Don't Look Back was the break out hit for Black Site Studios that really brought them into the spotlight of many miniature game & board game fans, near the end of last year the Revised Edition of the game finally got into the hands of those that supported it on Black Site Studios Back Room pre-order program and after recieving his copy and spending quite a bit of time with it, Jason "The Bruce" is here with his indepth review.

That's a brilliant idea, a simple reskin or hell you could use the create section to create a custom sam & dean. Definitely start with the basic scenarios before you do that stuff though

There are some you can find on the black site Studios UA-cam channel. I did one on the previous edition but it was much earlier in the journey and wasn't a very good video.
I'd definitely like to try my hand at it again.

This looks very cool. So games like this dont come with boards but you have to build the city / landscape? Sorry never heard of something like this. new to RPG world.
There's "recommended layouts" but no there's no board as such like you'd find with a board game. If you've played. Wargame in the past then you'd likely own enough to put a table together but otherwise there is terrain around you can get easy enough.
The game is played in a 3foot by 3foot table..
Something else you could do though is use things like books etc to represent terrain on the table.
There are many pre existing maps available online, you can often use those to suit your needs.

I've just learned about this game and want to start it. What are the bare minimum stuff I need for it?
There used to a core set for the old version that came with tokens, models and all sorts but I can't find something similar for the new verison.
I see online there's tons of stuff sold seperate but it seems super expensive to get into.
What would I need to play?

Rulebook obviously goes without saying, there is a token sheet under accesories but you can also find a free download for them on the site as well.
"Core Heroes Pack" is your player characters unless you have mini's you already want to use.
"Core Killer Pack" unless again you already have things you wish to use. I do have a review of the core heroes pack its pretty decent value Killer video should be out soon I've been spacing them out
i really dislike Kickstarter games because it feels like if you didn't hear about it or jump in early you missed out, that bein said is there any way to get the revised edition out the gate?
Black Site Studios don't actually kickstart anything, they have a pre-order system on their website called backroom they use instead.

@@tonydiazist my pleasure. In theory if you wanted you could kinda use whatever minis you wanted but I'd still recommend grabbing the heroes and killer core sets
