Sikhism was initially a non- violent religion then there was a formation of Sikh army called "khalsa" the Khalsa were heavily inspired by rajputs and infact the rajputs trained the army, rajputs are known for their bravery and they still are in huge numbers in Indian army, rajputs i.e, Kshatriyas represent the warrior class of indian subcontinent.
SIKHS WERE NOT INSPIRED BY RAJPUTS BUT THEY TOOK WEAPONS TO FIGHT AGAINST MUGHALS. ALL THE MUGHALS AND AFGHANS USED TO ENTER INDIA FROM NORTHERN PARTS AND SIKHS USED TO FIGHT THEM.
