  • Why do people leave the novus ordo and choose to attend the approved latin mass, or attend the sspx, or become a sedevacantist?
Why this relatively new attack on traditionalist groups?
Why does traditional Catholicism even exist?

Recentlly a priest gave me the traditional blessing for expectant mothers. Afterward he commented on how beautiful it was. The traditional blessings were all very beautiful. They were composed by men with deep faith, profound theological reflection, and greater understanding of the Scriptures than the protestants i grew up with.

SSPX usurps the local authority of the local prince of the church-local bishop appointed by Rome.
Ordinary mission should coincide extraordinary mission.
SSPX needs to accept second Vatican council for a full communion according to Pope Benedict’s document of removal of excommunication of 4 SSPX bishops.

It is 3:45 am. I wake up every night at 3:00 am, or a few minutes after, every night. This has been happening for around six years. I usually watch a Catholic video. Then pray myself back to sleep.
I can’t bring myself to attend the NO mass. Only the TLM. I go every Sunday. If it was offered everyday, I would go more often. I’m grateful the TLM is close by. I love being around faithful people who want to obey the Father to the best of their ability. I don’t see this at the NO mass. I love to be on my knees in reverence and obedience to my Lord. I love to participate in outward movements of submission and adoration to my Father/ The Holy Trinity. I believe I am in His presence with the Saints and Angels. I’m sure the devil is watching, I don’t care. I’m glad he must submit to the commands of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. I am very, very grateful to be alive now and part of the only Church on Earth. I am not surprised by the confusion. It solidifies the faith by projecting the struggles humankind has with good and evil in its nature.
Lefebvre is a Saint, Bugnini is a man from hell. That sums up my choices about living as a Catholic pretty simply. If you are offended by the TLM, I highly suggest you study about the Freemason Bugnini who made up the NO mass, and pray much, much more than you currently do now.

a few months ago the priest would not come from behind the altar to give me Holy Communion the traditional way.
I kept beckoning/challenging him to come forward....he kept pointing to the woman who was giving communion in the hand........I shook my head but allas he remained stubborn
    committing a mortal sin.
I am the only one in the NO mass to receive Communion while kneeling and on the tongue.

The term traditional catholic or traditionalists came from St. Pope Pius X. It existed in the early 1900s, almost 50 years before Vatican II. It was to distinguish Catholics from the modernists.
"The true friends of the people are neither revolutionaries, nor innovators, but traditionalists." - St. Pius X
A traditional Catholic is someone who recognizes the handed-down teachings of the Church and clings on to the more ancient practices and customs which we know to be good. They are cautious with novelties and even reject the new practices/ideas that pose a danger or go against Catholic faith/morals. For example, a traditional Catholic would not like and even reject the irreverent communion in the hand where particles fall in the ground and female alter servers, even if it was approved. A non-traditionalist might accept such novelties and even like the new changes.

I converted from being a non practicing Protestant to the novus ordo. I thought that was going to be better than the Protestant church but was worse in my opinion. By luck I found a Latin mass church near my office in Lawrence Massachusetts and never looked back. I go to daily mass and both my wife and I couldn’t be happier. There is a Dominican brother at the church that told me “pray the rosary daily with your wife and Our Lady will not let you down”. That’s the truth!!
In my opinion and by my experience the novus ordo has been designed to be hated especially by men. The music is awful and the priests I had any encounter with gave me terrible advise. They are lay people in a Roman collar and leading souls to hell.

Radtrads I notice are infected with the heresy of protestantism and secularism, they think they are right and the Church and authority is wrong, they suffer from pride, narcissism, malice, and disobedience. They claim to be Catholic but want to do away with the pope. They claim to be Catholic yet they are the first to become sedes, then orthodox, until they finally reach atheism. They suffer from the worst heresy, inciting division and apostasy. Real traditionalists from 1000 years ago will not consider these people traditionalists, look at taylor Marshall?

POPE BENEDICT XV (succeeded Pius X in 1912): “In the Church there is room for divergent opinions, and it is clearly the right of everyone to express and defend his or her own opinion. But in such discussions no expressions should be used that might constitute serious breaches of charity; let each one freely defend his or her own opinion, but let it be done with due moderation, so that no one should consider himself or herself entitled to affix on those who merely do not agree with their ideas the stigma of disloyalty to faith or to discipline. It is, moreover, our will that Catholics should abstain from certain appellations (designations) that have recently been brought into use to distinguish one group of Catholics from another. They are to be avoided... they give rise to great trouble and confusion among Catholics... There is no need of adding any qualifying terms to the profession of Catholicism; it is quite enough for each one to proclaim ‘Catholic is my name and Christian is my surname,’ only let them endeavor to be in reality what they call themselves.”

There is tradition and there is the traditionalist ideology. Traditional Christians exist in many many different forms, you have liturgical dances in some of the other Catholic Rites and in some you even have drums in the liturgical music... But well, I guess to be a traditional Christian you must simply follow the Latin Mass and the rubrics before the 1955 misal right? and you must follow the disciplinary decisions of popes before Vatican 2 but, which popes? well, you decide right? Confirmation was always understood as a sacrament that comes before first communion, but, who cares, there was a disciplinary change in the tradition and we all accepted it because the good popes were in charge right? any disciplinary change now is bogus bc of V2 right?
I personally attend the TLM in an SSPX Chapel with my family, but man, I am tired of traditionalists ideologs who believe they are the magisterium. Pray to God for true faith, so that you don't have to be crying because people take long in the confessional and Christ is pouring his mercy on them, maybe you can be saintly so that you don't have to go to confession...

But I was surprised when I showed up to mass for the first time. Although it was definitely different in a good way from the baptist churches I'd known before, it felt just familiar enough to feel... watered down. This is all very new to me so I'm trying not to form opinions just yet but it seems to me that if we're to worship God and not each other, it seems odd to have the priests face us and not an altar. The title of your channel alone: "I Miss Christnedom" suggests something crucial. You cannot miss, or long for something that you have. I couldn't claim that "I miss my family" if I would be among them right that moment. Affirming something like this would be considered as very weird, odd, and out of place. Maybe I would be regarded as someone crazy.
It brings me back the memory of that quote by John Paul 2:
"John Paul II, Homily, Dec. 5, 1996, speaking of prayer with non-Catholics: “When we pray together, we do so with the longing ‘that there may be one visible Church of God, a Church truly universal and sent forth to the whole world that the world may be converted to the Gospel and so be saved, to the glory of God’ (Unitatis Redintegratio, 1.).”"
John Paul II, which I regard as one of the most notorious antipopes is also longing that "THERE MAY BE" (suggesting that there is NOT) "one visible Church of God, a Church truly universal". This is the claim to miss something that I should represent as a highest jurisdiction on the earth. This is very telling, and this should give you some food for thought.
Praying in assemblies with non-Catholics (doesn't matter if with Protestants, or pagans) has been condemned by Pope Pius XI in Mortalium Animos.
I believe in one, visible, universal Church of God - the Catholic Church.
I was born in the darkness of the eclipse of the Church that even someone regarded as "Pope" affirmed that it (the Church) doesn't yet exist, and prayer with heretics, and unbelievers of all kinds is an expression of longing that it may exist.
It exists, because each confessor of the true Faith of Rome constitutes visible member of the Church. Traditions of the Church are beautiful, but I am not here for Trad-alone, but for Truth-alone, and nothing but the truth. And as truth cannot contradict itself, I believe in one Infallible Magisterium represented by true Popes, and I reject clear contradictors of such Magisterium which "gates of hell" (disputations of heretics) will never prevail.
This is among many other reasons why Sedevacantists are right.

The Novus Ordo resembles the Protestant services they grew up with and when they see the TLM they lash out because they don’t want to go back to that and lose their Protestant way of worship. They also left Protestantism in the expectation that they would escape division. It is for that reason they view anyone who doesn’t blindly obey every breath that comes from a man wearing a Roman collar as being a schismatic and a “Protestant”.

In the garden, the enemy understood that one sin would undo all of perfect creation. In the modern age, the enemy understood that out of thousands of pages of 'doctrine' published around the time of the Vat 2 council, only one error was needed to undo the fullness of truth on which the church based her authority to call all people to conversion and would lead the future church into deep disorder. That is what happened to the church. The first error led to more errors and is the reason for the decline in conversions, the mass exodus and the disorder of the modern church. If the church is not the fullness of truth, then there is no reason to be a part of the church and one faith is as good as another. The solution, therefore, would be to find the first error and for the leaders of the church to publicly admit their fault and correct the error. The modern church has lost its faith and the method to restoration is the same as it has always been...admit the mistake and ask God for forgiveness.

Hey, I've been watching your videos and have saved some for later.
I'm Iranian (23yo), so I can't convert here, or I'll die (at best, jailed for a decade, tortured and shunned). But that's not the problem; churches won't baptise muslim borns because they'll get shut down by the regime and the people involved will be persecuted. I have contacted the very few churches under Catholicism in Iran but they won't do it out of that fear. I still pray the rosary everyday (found a simple wooden rosary after a long search in the city) and study Catholic teachings and saints in any way I can (internet, ebooks, history of the Church, etc.) I plan to get baptized in a Catholic church if I get the chance to live in a free country. I also study the Marian apparitions.
My question is this: what do you think? I can't get baptized by a Catholic priest, I can't go to confession, I can't attend the Mass, I fall short in every sacrament even though I know them to be true and I know the Catholic Church is the One Church Christ Himself founded on Earth.
I know I can't claim to be a Catholic and I'm not; but it would be good to hear your opinion because from what I've seen, you have a pretty good knowledge of Catholicism.

God bless you for recognizing and embracing the One and Only Apostolic Faith, the Catholic faith! I'm sorry to hear your country sucks so much that they don't even allow Muslims to be Baptized. I didn't know it was that bad. But you don't need to worry about whether or not you are legitimately a "Catholic" if you're not Baptized. This causes despair and we need to avoid becoming hopeless at all costs. Look up "Baptism of Desire" for a deeper understanding. *Recent doctrinal development has made clear that it is possible for one to receive baptism of desire by an implicit desire. This is the principle that makes it possible for non-Christians to be saved. If they are genuinely committed to seeking and living by the truth, then they are implicitly committed to seeking Jesus Christ and living by his commands; they just don’t know that he is the Truth they’re seeking (cf. John 14:6).* I would, however, continue to seek for a Catholic Church that will help you to receive the Sacraments as soon as possible. Don't give up on your search and getting to know the Catholic faith better! 🙏

It's a heretical teaching and the way it's taught today departs significantly from what was implied by those who quote those scholars and early fathers

As a brand new Catholic, who admittedly has not researched this topic, how is this not saying that Jesus Christ is no longer leading His Church in truth? Isn’t it saying that the Spirit left the Church after Vatican 2? How can you reconcile feeling this way and still claim that the Church will not fail? (Not being disrespectful. I was raised believing that true Christians were oppressed by the Catholic Church but that Christ still led them, albeit invisibly and as a minority. This seems like the Catholic version of Baptist successionism). And, yes, I have been to a Traditional Latin Mass. It was beautiful but it means nothing to me when I can’t understand the language.

The issue with saying that people in Catjolic countries cannot practice their own peculiar faiths is that if freedom of religion is abolished, majority protestant countries (like the USA) would have the capacity to surpress catholic worship. Its happened before. Without freedom of religious choice, many americans might not be catholic at all

The Catholic position is this: only the Catholic religion enjoys that right
Protestants do not have the right under God to do that

What makes this any better than the protestant reformation. What this is telling me that if I don’t agree with the Church then I’m Ok to start a new church. You mention that the Mass has been the same since the 6th century. Why don’t you look back to Justin Martyr where actually VII went back to him which explained the way mass was to be done, he was the 1st Century. The truths you speak are that, your truth. I pray for the souls you are pulling away from the one true Church.

@scottritz7520 ..I'm sorry he has a point, if you disagree with the Catholic church and refuse to honor it you might as well start your own religion. I say it respectfully this makes no different than what Martin Luther did in the reformation.

@@scottritz7520So you are saying God set up the church for 1900 years so that it can fail the next 100. In other words the gates of hell finally prevaied against it, Intresting. I have news for you the Church had been infiltrated by evil from the very beginning remember Judas? Let's not forget all the antipopes, crusades, inquisition, molestation I can go on. The Latin Mass is a beautiful liturgy but in no way invalidates the NO. Your way of thinking actually is causing division. Think about it, the problem is not NO but more the liberal mindset that has infiltrated our society in general, also let me remind you that the Latin Mass was not the form of worship in early Christianity it was preached in its vanacular form, and guess what? The Eucharist was taken by hand. Ultimately if you claim to be catholic then you have to trust that the Holy Spirit is guiding the Church and if you take issue with the liturgy then write to your bishop and let him know but stop spreading division.

What do you think of Russian Orthodoxy? The country clearly is anti-western degeneracy and upholds Christian values. They just built Russian military cathedral and seem to be the closest thing resembling the monarchal Christendom you want. Even if you don’t like what I said. For the sake of my country I hope your traditional catholic movement gains traction :) ☦️

“Mary is hardly ever talked about”?? What are you on about, can you stop lying? I hear about Mary almost every week, we celebrate all the feast days, my church prays the rosary every day. Your statements about confession are false as well, there are long lines and they go fairly fast.
