The matchmaking pisses me off the most but the other stuff can't be ignored. They nerf everything but the annoying stuff. That recoil nerf they hit the Scar with that makes it seize to the right was unnecessary. The no solo queue modes combined with the terrible matchmaking makes the game borderline unplayable. SO sure you can solo, but you're going to have a terrible time of it. So not only do you have to face a premade as a solo, you also get paired with potatoes if you're a good player. I'm either dominating with the top score on my team or close to it, or I'm getting annihilated the instant I see an enemy player. There is no in-between.

As a light who soloed to plat and then gave up my biggest issue is that the system by default fvcks over solo players compared to stacks. A stack never has to worry about compensating for random prelim teammates or low level bronze or silvers. Yet these are massive set backs that above average solo players have to over come while fighting stacks if they want to keep climbing in ranked. Prelims should always be queued on a single team and if you want to add bronze 4 players to entire gold lobbies then make it an entire team instead of screwing over the gold 1s who are soloing
The thing hurting the finals the most is clickbait doom & gloom videos. On release day I played the game and had a blast; today I played the game and had a blast. How about attempting to draw players in instead of clickbaiting for 75 cents worth of views.
All the finals needs to do is do some general balancing, buff some bad abilites and guns to make everything somewhat enjoyable to use, and fix the cheater and ranked system
I dont understand why games are still banning cheaters… You know I’ve been thinking about it.. there is no way to really ban cheaters on free games, they just create new accts and ruin new players experience… fk it let them keep their stats, but start putting cheaters in cheater ONLY lobbies, have game clients (like steam, epic, blizzard) start getting ip and hardware info of hackers and put them in these lobbies for any new acct. i mean their gonna play the game regardless no matter how many times they’re banned, pin the cheaters against each other give them a taste of their own game
There is actually a precedent for this, but ironically the only game that I can think of that actually did this was titanfall 2. They had a rating system where you could rate people negatively if they were cheating or exceedingly toxic, and the lower that rating was the more toxic players and cheaters there were. I don’t think it actually helped that much in the end (hackers quite literally broke the game for 8 months at one point), but I could see it working. The other thing I think that would help is have accounts tied to real phone numbers. While this can be tiresome I think it would dramatically slow down account creation in the long run as it did in CSGO. The trick then is to catch cheaters in the act and ban immediately. Hacker vs hacker lobbies were actually a thing in CSGO, where cheaters will compete to see who has the best cheats in their own tournaments and such. In CS2 the system is so bad that cheaters just cheat openly in like 80% of matches after a certain rank, but that’s a failure of valve
I’m a solo medium support player. It’s been almost a month since I started playing. I’m almost Plat 1. Can’t say I’ve dealt with a lot of cheaters so far.
I swear a few weeks ago this guy was talking about how much he loves this game now it’s in a horrible state? We all know ranked isn’t perfect give the devs some time they aren’t a HUGE team that can fix the game perfect at the snap of our fingers. This game is truly fun to play and the best fps option for those who aren’t STUCK on their old game. Embark is committed and they will keep updating the game…I guarantee within the next 5-6 updates thru season 2 there won’t be much to complain about
The guy said that it is "the best fps game he played." The fact that you enjoy something and like it does not mean that you will ignore the core problems. If it was in such good state, people wouldn't be leaving every week. How much time we have to give them? We are waiting 5 months for things to be fixed at this point. The studio is not that small and they are backed by Nexon. These devs are fps veterans, there is simply no excuse for this. I'm mainly talking about balance and the fact that the game is losing its identity. Motto of the game "reach the finals" and all the other modes are made without final round.

And friends with probably 10 diamond players and only 1 of them still play exactly what dude says at beginning of video. Spam ranked to farm noobs. С выходом второго сезона соотношение честных игроков к читерам с aimbot + wallhack стало сильно падать. Несмотря на наличие новой карты и нового режима, исчезла уникальность каждого раунда. В каждом раунде тебя окружает пара читеров и отправляет в ожидание respawn одними хэдшотами, начиная стрелять ещё до появления из-за препятствия, либо вообще попадая сквозь стены. Заявления embark о том, что они в новом обновлении вот теперь точно начали бороться с читерами, просто смешны
I stopped playing as a casual because the gunplay felt awful with the controller nerf. I stopped having fun after that. Edit: I play on PS5, btw… never used the cheat engine or whatever controller players used on pc
@@Jefstitobro, just max out both horizontal and vertical sensitivity and set your right stick deadzone to 0, if u have stick drift put it around 1 or 2 and u should be good
After all the light nerfs and controller nerfs, it’s hard to enjoy because those things were nerfed because they were hated on, never actually op or unbalanced. I play medium now and just chain revive for free with two other mediums. Somehow that’s not op or unbalanced.
you make me laugh when you write this, 1- matchmaking times increase considerably 2- cheaters are also there on consoles with cronus and xim, they are certainly not comparable but they still ruin the experience. However, it is true that cross play has ruined fps games even more. They should only do cross play between consoles, but unfortunately if you direct cross play I from Xbox will only play against xbox players, when xbox and ps5 would be better, because the xbox community is low.
I'm an average player at best, the main problem is matchmaking and that can't be fixed if the pool of players left is filled with godlike sweats that you are forced to play against. It just puts people like me off playing at all.
Every. Single. Game. Has. Cheaters. Even freaking bunny bash was riddled with them when it was out. I’ve been playing since mid S1 and have watched the game go from having the occasional hacker you’d run into every couple days to the state it’s in now with one or two in every game. Few weeks ago I saw many blatant aimbotters, almost daily, but now I haven't seen one in a week at least. And Solo q experience in platinum 2 is also better somehow now, it's been improving all the time. It seems that the enemies are easier and many gold players are against us plats. Maybe it's just natural because better players have already grinded to diamond and lost interest until the next great patch. Maybe Embark's priorities are in fixing the cheating problem before they give us other important changes, that's why patch 2.6 was delayed for next week or later.
I gotta say I play ranked in NA at plat 1 rn and can’t really remember the last time I thought someone was cheating. Also, been showing a lot of my friends this game and this is what they play now. Its good that it doesn’t just q them in my elo on casual games because they can actually have decent/competitive games. Wouldn’t take them into ranked though but that’s fine

Well for the last 10 days, I haven't encountered hackers, couple of games in last 10 days were little sus, but it's waaaaay better. And I also think the guy in the video is overdramatic.
I want this game to succeed so bad, but it feels like it’s going to fall victim to cheaters, and it will be the first of many. Multiplayer titles, especially FPS, have an unsolvable issue ahead of them when it comes to cheats, and with at least 20-30% of the community cheating in any shooter of your choice it’s clear this will kill several more titles before we all just resort to single player games. The cheating community is so massive and lucrative that it is just going to exist regardless of how hard the devs try to shut them down. Other prominent examples of widespread cheating issues in the past few years include CSGO & CS2, titanfall 1 & 2, Apex Legends, rainbow six siege, destiny 2, fortnite, Escape from Tarkov, and so many more. At their worst a lot of these games crossed over 50% cheaters at upper ranks, with escape from tarkov most likely eclipsing 70% and destiny 2 at one point crossing over 90% usage of XIM for flawless in the trials mode. If the devs could solve this they would. There is one thing that could possibly save us though, and that is AI anticheat. It’s basically what VAC live is supposed to be, but much more in depth. It can detect cheats during matches, it can stop matches immediately, and the craziest part is that it can recognize how players typically move their mouse at a sub-pixel level (in a way that is impossible to replicate as another player basically), allowing them to ban players who make new accounts but have the same “signature” of how they play. If they can get this cooking I think that would solve a lot of the problems. The potential is endless and the scaling would be infinite, allowing AI to rapidly ban players cheating and update itself all the time to keep track of new hacks. What I do know is that kernel isn’t the solution. It can slightly reduce rage hackers in games but besides that it does little to reduce widespread cheating. Valorant even has around 25% of players using some form of cheating (typically trigger bots), despite vanguard having full control of your computer at all times. Riot basically owns your computer when you download that software and it doesn’t meaningfully fix the problem.
How many more videos are gonna be posted about this game dying? It's a self fulfilling prophecy, that's hurting the game just from the title of the video alone. So many youtubers are benefiting off of doom and gloom, after seeing 10 videos like this, all of the players that left already will read the titles on these kinds of videos and just confirm their thought; "yup, i knew it was dead, no point in playing." And someone that could be a new player seeing it just thinks "oh I might as well not even start playing if it's dying." Regardless of the content of the videos, it's just unfortunate. The cheating problem is something that everyone references as well. It always seems like they think it's a problem that is specific to The Finals. It's not just The Finals, it's every shooter nowadays that is suffering from cheater problems. Cheaters are gonna ruin a whole genre I hate to see it happening to such a special game. The Finals really has such an amazing base to build upon.
This is the natural problem of any rank system. People ppl who do well enjoy it and the ppl who get farmed don’t and they stop playing ranked. Bigger games can handle a revolving door and smaller games can’t. Many of the games now that are massive are massive because they were the first to do the thing they do in their field really well. The finals offers nothing new or better and often times much it is much clunkier. Stop playing video games to feed your ego just play to have fun and when you stop having fun stop playing. You've gotta be the luckiest man alive. Crossplay ranked has cheaters every 1/5 games. Turning crossplay off, for console players, usually fixes this problem but then you have to wait 15-20 minutes to find a game.

A major problem with games are these videos, yes we obviously understand there’s flaws and cheating. But videos like these (there’s soooo many about this game) drives people away. Creators are the best promoters and every video updated is a click bait title about how the game is dying

i think competitive fps games are just gonna be like this from now on, it seems no one can get rid of hackers anymore, also in apex and csgo2

Got the same hacker in multiple lobbies last night, even after reporting. It just feels like no one is playing some nights.

I play controller on pc and after the aim assist nerf it feels fine lol, maybe just switch up your sensitivities

What I do know is that kernel isn’t the solution. It can slightly reduce rage hackers in games but besides that it does little to reduce widespread cheating. Valorant even has around 25% of players using some form of cheating (typically trigger bots), despite vanguard having full control of your computer at all times. Riot basically owns your computer when you download that software and it doesn’t meaningfully fix the problem.

Downloaded it again after playing ow2 for a month and it kinda sucked. It felt so clunky and it didn’t feel fun to be honest.
How many more videos are gonna be posted about this game dying? It's a self fulfilling prophecy, that's hurting the game just from the title of the video alone.
So many youtubers are benefiting off of doom and gloom, after seeing 10 videos like this, all of the players that left already will read the titles on these kinds of videos and just confirm their thought; "yup, i knew it was dead, no point in playing." And someone that could be a new player seeing it just thinks "oh I might as well not even start playing if it's dying."
Regardless of the content of the videos, it's just unfortunate.
The cheating problem is something that everyone references as well. It always seems like they think it's a problem that is specific to The Finals. It's not just The Finals, it's every shooter nowadays that is suffering from cheater problems. Cheaters are gonna ruin a whole genre
I hate to see it happening to such a special game. The Finals really has such an amazing base to build upon.
I hope they introduce a new class.

This is the natural problem of any rank system. People ppl who do well enjoy it and the ppl who get farmed don’t and they stop playing ranked. Bigger games can handle a revolving door and smaller games can’t. Many of the games now that are massive are massive because they were the first to do the thing they do in their field really well. The finals offers nothing new or better and often times much it is much clunkier. Stop playing video games to feed your ego just play to have fun and when you stop having fun stop playing. Try chess 😂

Crossplay ranked has cheaters every 1/5 games.
Turning crossplay off, for console players, usually fixes this problem but then you have to wait 15-20 minutes to find a game.
@@RND3YT I play crossplay ranked all the time. Currently plat 2. Been playing this game for more than 200 hours and only encountered 3 cheaters so far. I don't know what are these people talking about.

A major problem with games are these videos, yes we obviously understand there’s flaws and cheating. But videos like these (there’s soooo many about this game) drives people away. Creators are the best promoters and every video updated is a click bait title about how the game is dying
