Hi Shadenox, thanks for such amazing guide! Wouldn't Crimson Tempest be the best pick even for solo target damage as it does approx the same damage as rapture?
No, if you're hitting only one target you don't want to press it, Envenom has more impact then. Also, keep in mind that Crimson Tempest works with Sanguine Blades, just like Garrote and Rupture (so it will consume more Energy to deal added damage if you have more than 50% max energy), but it does not work with Venomous Wounds, so it doesn't refund energy. That means that when you are hitting only one or two targets, if you use Crimson Tempest, not only does it not deal max damage, but it also makes you dip below 50% energy quicker, preventing your Garrote from getting Sanguine Blades procs. In short, it makes you deal less damage. I hope I wasn't too confusing :p
The single target one. There are variations with 4 poisons as well that I didn't cover in the guide really 'cause it didn't feel that great to me back then, but I see it perform better now.

I don't have a video dedicated to that, no. The UI is kind of personal I suppose, many people have their own stuff. Pick what you like from others, and build your own! The only important thing is to avoid useless information as it takes away focus for nothing.
Well, every spec has its own ladder so you can play all of them. No idea what's the best healer in shuffle at the moment. That's a bit outside of my area of expertise. Before last reset I would have said that RDruid and Disc looked a bit above the rest.
I thought about it. Echoing was mostly useful to deal a lot of Envenom damage quickly last season, but it wouldn't be as good this season. Envenom deals a bit less damage comparatively, plus you don't have Poison Bomb to make more value out of it. Also, with Shadow Dance and all the bleed amplifiers Garrote has become way stronger overall than what it used to be, and Lethality works with Garrote crits since Garrote is a Combo Point builder. So I think it's better to keep Lethality. That, plus that's what allows Kingsbane crits to hit that hard.
How do you feel about the Poison Build from the „MYK“ Guy whos all over the TOP 10 Leaderboard with you? Whats the good and bad of that one? Whats ur opinion on it, using Poisons over Sudden Demise etc?
I know that he has a poison build in his loadouts, but everytime I've seen him play he wasn't playing with it, so I'm not sure what his reasoning behind it is, when he uses it and so on. Right now I think the most damage comes from not playing 4x poison, but I'm sure a build centered around Enveom/PoisonBomb could work well with 4x poison, and without Arterial then (I guess). Feels like Sudden Demise is more overall damage than Arterial if you have to choose.
I've swapped the talents from the improved vial to Subterfuge a couple weeks back. Figured that since Garrote is AoE with Crnage it could be nice to be able to stun two people with Cheap Shot in opener and still Garrote them both.
It basically takes the points from Lethality to put in ER & RC. It works too, but as long as I'm going to play Kingsbane I like Lethality more. That way I have a better kill button during Shadow Dance.

THis season is much more cleave oriented so you wouldn't use a ST build, but overall it remains relevant. As for my UI it's just a display that I like, I show spells with a cooldown (twice), and hide the others. You can notice that Mutilate or Envenom are not on my bars, for instance.
@@dustinbrandt9912 ST is single target. If my memory is correct I showed one st build and one AoE build in this guide because the meta was very different when I made it. Currently, we simply AoE people
I simply have my spells on hidden bars, and on these bars that you see there are no keybinds,I put only the cooldowns I want to be able to see, twice because it looks good !

@@xevurrI really don't enjoy 2v2 in Dragonflight, so I don't play it unless I have to help someone cap or something. As for energy, well, you need to make sure your bleeds AND at least one poison are alwyas on multiple targets. If you have them on only one, then you'll get less energy than what you spend and will end up starved.
@@xevurr Oh I like DF, just not 2v2 in DF. Damp starts high, nothing happens for a while, and with Solo Shuffle a lot of players have dropped 2v2 so it feels empty, always facing the same players only playing 3-4 different comps... a bit boring
The default behavior of Action Bar 1 (provided you don't use any addon for your bars) is to switch to a secondary version of the bar when you are in stealth/shadowdance. So I just put the spell on the stealth version of the bar.
Wound & Crippling always, unless very specific scenarios like playing with a DH in Solo Shuffle since he already has an AoE healing reduction effect, allowing you to play Deadly rather than Wound.
Assa does mostly bleed damage right now so Sudden Demise enhances this further, the Execute is just a bonus. 4x Poison isn't that great right now imo, it basically simply allows the use of Deadly and a little extra bit of annoyance for the enemy with Numbing Poison. Also a little bit more ramp up on Kingsbane. But to be honest I would like it if Envenom was a bit better and the play was 4x Poison, with Poison Bomb and more Envenoms.
Outlaw plays a lot around BtE, which deals crazy damage when it crits, and also gives 20% more crit chance. So playing full crit allows you to crit *a lot*, and deal a lot of extra damage. The damage increase is stronger than the one from Mastery this season.

Well, Sub doesn't have the most nsustained, but if you really want to deal damage outside of goes the first thing to do is to Rupture people. Rupture actually deals amazing damage as Sub, you just don't want to press it on goes as your Combo Points go into Eviscerate. So, Rupture, Slice, farm CPs for the next DR and go again!
I believe that the garrote gives you 3 points and then the shiv may give 2, into the 5 point rupture, could be wrong though, just optimizing combo point usage so none go to waste
It does. Almost all damage buffs in this game now are dynamic. When you get the buff (or debuff) the damage is increased for the duration, and stos being increased when the effect fades. So, Garrote Shiv Rupture is simply to get a longer Rupture.
The UI one you can go in Edit Mode and click import, then put the link. Same for the talents. For Add-ons there usually is an Import Profile option somewhere too.

Sparks are only necessary to craft an item the first time, then you can order a recraft of that item and change the components (stats, embellishements, ilvl boosts). You only need a new spark or recraft orders if the item was created with a spark from the previous patch, and you attempt to slot in components of the current one. So your parts were not wasted at all! Just get that PvP iLvL upgrade token, and then do a recraft order of your item with the PvP iLvL thingy. The only thing is, I think you need to find someone in trade chat to send a personal order to, I don't think recrafts can be made public orders.
Well, it is fine, but to me Acrobatic Strikes is better. I have a high enough chance to crit what's important without Cold Blood anyway, and then Acrobatic Strikes is useful for the entire match.
Well, it is a combo point builder. If you are a talented into it, use it instead of Mutilate during Shiv windows when you have charges. That's as simple as that !

You can play the build with Bonespike and without Carnage, unless you face a comp with pets for free energy and more damage through Scent fo Blood.

No addon. I just dragged the spells from my spellbook there (these bars have no keybinds), and hid my bars with keybinds.

How about akro's build with reprimand and big shiv w/o ambush things, feels kinda good and flowy.

also takes away improved ambush and blindside. Dmg on muti/ambush is significally lower but got higher dots and envenom@@Shadenox
The entire point of ER is to use Envenom more since you don't need as many CPs for it, so, yeah :p

When you are playing and there is a flowing (moving left from right) 'bar of abilities to use next is that weak auras?
It isn't a bar of abilities to use next, it is a flowing bar of what I just used, for the viewers!

Isn’t head better for tier than shoulders, then you can get emblassishment on shoulders too
If you want crit as a 3rd stat shoulders are better. If you prefer haste then sure, get the head
@15:05 Why do we want to garrote 2 people as it spreads anyway? Unless it's too far apart? Same thing with rupture?
It's mostly when people aren't close yes. If your first Garrote instantly hits all 3 enemies for instance then you don't need to use it again.

You can equip as many as you want. You are limited to two embellishments, but an item can be crafted without embellishments

Correct! If you craft it without the token then it won't scale up in PvP.

Not worth it. It deals very little damage, and I don't feel like we spam Envenom overly much.
