I just finished your book and wanted to say that I found it very rivetting, touching and honest. Thank you so much for all that you have done and will do for this country.

I have just finished listening to your book on audible whilst driving to and from work every day and had tears in my eyes when your speech was read in the appendix, so had to listen to it for real. Thank you for all you hsve done for this country and those who have served to protect us. We are forever grateful.

I am watching your appearance at the inquiry and have just re-watched this video of your memorable maiden speech.
Anyone in doubt as to the integrity and sincerity of Johnny Mercer should watch your maiden speech in the House of Commons.

Just read your book. We were warriors once. Tears at times. I respect you very much.

Having just finished your book and watched you on TV several times I wanted to say how refreshing it is to have a genuine, normal, MP among the ranks. Keep on keeping on

Having finished your book 30 minutes ago i wanted to actually hear your speech in the commons.
I was intensely moved by your book and am unashamedly proud of our armed forces who carry out their duty too often with severe consequences in life and limb. It is only right that a veteran such as yourself brings to bear reminds governments of their responsibilities to those it sends off to war in their name. For too long our damaged veterans have been without sufficient voice to be properly heard. I hope you are able to make a difference. I cant help feel every time i hear of another veteran taking their own life or descending into hell through drugs, alcohol, homelessness and ptsd (more often than not multiples of these) that more than casualties of war they have become considered collateral damage in the political, economical and geographical machinations of government. I pray you'll remain as steadfast as your speech suggests and fight the fight they cannot.
It is inglorious it itself that they should need to. It is shameful that charities need to be relied upon to provide services care and aid to those who suffered at our behest. They are our collective responsibility and deserve all we can do to help them and their families. God bless your efforts

One of the best maiden speeches I have heard in the Commons. Your determination to improve mental health support and to provide our veterans with the care and support they need are both to be commended. Keep up the good work, Johnny!

I have listened to your book on audible - 9 hours of it whilst traveling to work and back. I finished it today not one mile from site and had to clear tears from my eyes listening to this speech, there being 4 other ex-Sappers on site and not wanting them to see my tears.
We have the same goals you and me. I have been working on this since 2012. Check out Gunnerfest, we may allow you to attend. :-D
More power to you boss and never give up.

this is good, shame Mercer has been whipped into line... he should leave the conservatives and join labour.. not that many would be happy about that
