- Wait a minute, I don't remember this level in Mario Kart! In Queenstown, New Zealand, you can take a gondola up to the top of a Mountain ride a little kart down to the bottom, twisting and turning along the way, giving you gorgeous views of the surrounding area! Just don't wipe out along the way!

All fun and games until somebody leaves a banana peel on the ground around a blind corner
I personally know two people that have broken their leg on the Rotorua Luge in the Nth Island and many more that have a story about crashing.
At least there’s no blue shells
@Back Row Coasters and no lightning.
Too funny! 😅
As a New Zealander I am happy you're showing these clips on your channel because coasters is not we are known for lol I can't wait when you upload the Shotover jet clip 🫣🫣🫣
Glad you’re enjoying them! We did not film unfortunately at Shotover Jet :( but we loved the experience!
Some of the views appear to be awesome! Would love to see that concept in Colorado or California.
Or the hills of Georgia.
“WELCOME TO MARIO KART!!!!” Lol, as some who’s 3 favorite things are coasters, gokarts and Video Games (specifically Mario Kart). This is now on my bucket list!
The Midway Mayhem bit had me rolling 😂
I studied in NZ 6 years ago and I did this. Just brought back all of the memories
This is on my bucketlist since a saw a video about it 8 years ago. Looks so cool! :)
You two always bring a smile to my face!😊
2:10
Tops on their way to a date
THIS IS LOOKS SO FUN OMG
The new Mario kart course looks insane
1:06 the fact that people are just walking right next to the track is so funny to me
I remember doing this multiple times 17 years ago - still have fond memory flashbacks to it.
Those mountain views are just 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩
Went there a few years ago. It was really fun i loved it.
Rotura is the best luge in NZ. We could never have it in American because stupid kids would bump each other and someone would get hurt and sue.
Love the Rotorua luge tracks! I believe they updated some last year, so it's even better now.
Very nice. Queenstown is cool. Next time you come for a visit, try the luge in Rotorua too as it's a bit more thrilling than the Queenstown track, however you do lose the amazing Queenstown views. The Rainbow corkscrew might be working then too. Maybe.
The views looked to be amazing!
@@alantrotter2077 it's seriously the perfect place for an alpine coaster, but here we are.
sarah is so funny i cant 😭
This gives me Gran Turismo vibes
I visited here earlier this year, and it was an absolute blast!!
That looks like so much fun.
If you had Mario kart music playing during the video that would’ve been hilarious
Sarah would've been able to catch up to Talyor if she had a Red Shell hahah
There’s also one of these in Mont Tremblant in Quebec
I just saw The Super Mario Movie and it was amazing 😂😂
NOW that is COOL!!!
That was... Pretty cooool.
20th also me and my brother would be terrified doing that
what’s up guys it’s taylor and taylor from coaster studios
Wow 😮
Where’s my blue shell?
I did that one time, it was so fun
Where’s the rainbow road section?
😂 omg such fun!
Lol. IDK if you have Mario kart 8, but if you do, and miss doing this, just turn that game on and play Mount Wario over and over again. Basically the same thing, just with anti gravity tech so you can ride on ceiling and drive sideways on the wall of a dam.
😁 FUN! 😁
There is a luge at Mont Tremblant in Quebec Canada
I remember doing this back in 2009, awesome views but ride itself is indeed a bit scary, I rode those brakes really hard, afraid to be thrown off the edge of a cliff.
Fun!
This kinda looks like Mario Kart in real life! And spoiler alert: Mario Kart is also in the movie!
I would love to do this!
Liam Thompson should try that (he's a youtuber from auckland)
This is a really interesting concept, I wonder what the airtime and laterals feel like if they are good.
Is it gravity powered or does it have an engine? Like an alpine coaster on a road.
now imagine riding a real kart in this
maybe some like insane laterals
It's all fun and games until someone gets red/green/blue shelled off the cliff.
It's like Mario Kart in real life. So Good. I play Mario Kart Wii.
Could I interview you for a school project?
1:53 💀💀
if u spin or loose grip ur screwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwed
