Thank you for this informative video. Can you tell me why the take home pay included both the SMP as well as employee's regular pay when she is on Maternity leave? Shouldn't it suppose to exclude the regular pay component when that particular pay period is fully considered under maternity leave?
Pls does this SMP apply to all NHS trust or does it depend on a particular NHS policy Like I knew someone that work with NHS ,she started work in June 2021,and her expected date of delivery is May 2022 and the trust is saying she is not still eligible What can she do pls?
