Overall Camilla is better. Higher range doesn't automatically put you above others. I mean Christina Aguilera for example can sing like 2 octaves above Beyonce but Beyonce's overall vocal ability is far beyond what Christina is capable of, making her superior.

Normani: Probably has the widest range, best dancer and her low notes are insane
Lauren: Her harmony is great and her voice is versatile and strong without being loud
Dinah: Her high notes are crazy and she definitely has the best control
Camila: She can do high notes and riffs like no one else, and her voice is engaging
Ally: She has the most ease with her high notes, and most upper chest voice range
I'd say Normani is a mezzo, even though she doesn't have a high voice, she can whistle tone. Lauren is somewhere between mezzo and contralto. Dinah is probably mezzo, same for Camila but Camila and Ally could both easily be sopranos. Idk

Dinah and Ally can belt like CRAZY!! They're both incredible. Normani's whistle note gave me a chill, she's amazing. I feel like Lauren's the best singer overall, so she should get longer parts. Camila should just be a backup singer, I can't take her squeaky chipmunk tone.

Ally is hands down my favorite vocalist in 5h... with lauren an extremely close second. Hot take: Ally's voice is the most versatile, like seriously if you just listen closely to most of their live performances, Ally's voice really carries each song. Her voice tends to recede into the background because it doesn't have as unique a tone as camila/dinah/lauren's, but damn if she doesn't support and carry their performances on her back with her soulful soprano vocals. Not to mention her lower register sounds gorgeous too, i always enjoy her solos because of how consistent her tone is, it's like butter, it's so rich and smooth. I'd say her voice is just as powerful as dinah's, maybe even more so. It's just more understated. But one thing's for sure, she has the best breath control (like damn where can i get a pair of lungs like those) and amazing vocal technique (her vibrato is *flawless* , like seriously it's scary how stable it always is). Lastly, she belts like a damn pro, i mean i'm always stunned at how effortless she makes it look. No strain at all. She's an amazing vocalist and deserves more recognition.
I miss this very much. I was so proud of these girls. They really were a great group and were "Better Together". Sadly, the way it all ended I doubt there will ever be a reunion. God I would love to see Camila join them and do Work From Home. I love that song with all 5 of them.
