Wow! Such Beautiful teak wood furniture and handmade! It shames me to see so many "compressed sawdust" furniture sold over here, and the surface of all the furniture has such a mirror sheen to them! Your subs never know what'll share with us from the Land of Smiles Paul!
Beautiful craftsmanship for sure. We toured several factories one day up north and what I fell in love with was the lacquer furniture made from bamboo it was so beautiful and very reasonably priced of course the shipping would have been a killer.
Bamboo can make good furniture but it has to be treated somehow or it only last a few years and if it is outside it is done in a year. Yes, shipping is the issue everything.
Very cool. I always find time to stop at those roadside markets. Solid wood is hard to find here without going broke buying it. Thanks Paul. All the best. Mitch
There is a lot of cheap furniture here as well, they clamped down on the cutting of trees a few years ago and real furniture went away, but it is back now, lots of this stuff around.
I saw lots of that stuff over there its is so nice. The chairs need cushions. That poor guy needed some sleep I bet he was up all night. It would be great if shops in the uk and around the world worked like that. Find the worker go to buy stuff leave a stick at the till to poke the worker and wake them up ;-) Most of them in Switzerland are asleep on there feet lol Just how they are. Uk the you go in and you have 3 ask you if you need help before you looked at stuff... I remember going in restaurants in Indonesia and you saw no one. so looked for a counter and said hello and some boy or girl jumped up from a sleeping mat behind the counter got your table and meal in 20 mins or less fresh cooked. Took me by surprise the first time but dam fine food and great people.
I agree, sleep when you can get it and here most people can go to sleep in seconds if they want too. This guy was probably up all night moving the furniture from another market in a different city, and well do it again is a day or 2.
Thanks for the furniture market tour. Some pretty cool stuff. My older brother-in-law has one of those slatted recliner chairs. It's his throne...555. Thanks for bringing us along.
We once had rocking chairs like the ones pictured. We came to the states in '73. Chairs got left behind after another move '91. Is there anywhere to get these here in the states?
Uncomfortable for falangs maybe, but I see those wide benches in every second home it seems. Maybe the Thais have a different version of comfort as they seem to have no problem sleeping all night on a tile floor.
I worked at an internship once where they sold this type of stuff, only leser quality. THOSE TABLES ARE AWSOME! although I don't really like the finish, not only is it not flat, the shiny stuff isn't really my kind of furniture, although I must say that it works sometimes (like in boxes ect.)
Got a new batch of baby ducks, hatched yesterday, Mom turkey is walking around all proud with her new babies, but no video on that lot, been too busy, maybe next time.

Wow!!! I love teakwood furniture!!!
I am looking for a friend who can market furniture products from my country, the price is below the furniture store, I am a craftsman directly
teakwood from indonesia
Thanks Paul. I can't get over all that furniture on the side of the road! Our furniture stores have tent sales but nothing close to that!
And the cool thing, 2 days later and you never know they were there, they move on to the next place and set it all up again.
The quality of some of that furniture is a long term investment , very interesting Paul , thank you .
It will last forever that is for sure.

Lots of the sawdust furniture here as well, that stuff falls apart just looking at it.
Beautiful craftsmanship for sure. We toured several factories one day up north and what I fell in love with was the lacquer furniture made from bamboo it was so beautiful and very reasonably priced of course the shipping would have been a killer.

Good craftsmanship. Mirror finish for sure. Best wishes Bob.
A lot of work goes into making a mirror finish...
I know. I did a lot of wood working and refinishing and that is time consuming work. Best wishes Bob.
They are all so pretty. They really did a great job.
The workmanship is amazing for sure.
Wow great craftsmanship. I might look at the cigar boxes / Humidors. when I am over there. thanks for filming that.
They sure do nice work.
Beautiful. Great craftsmanship. Thanks Mr Paul. As always 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

thanks Paul for sharing looks beautifull the furniture
Thanks for taking the look.
Would you happen to recall about what they were asking for the large featured table(s)? Thx!
Sorry, I did not get the price on anything.
Beautiful tables. I should send you a pic of my dining table. It seats 12. My dad made it years ago.
That sounds very cool
@@arnoldlayne9918 Thank you
A table with meaning is better than anything you can buy, but must be a big table and a big family.

So many nice pieces.
Lots of beautiful stuff there.
Is there a market in Isaan that has a huge selection of teak wood furniture on display all year round?
Not that I know of.
What kind of wood do you think was used for those really nice, thick table tops?
I don't know, but it's heavy and hard and looks very nice.
It's hard to find that kind furniture here. It would be nice. Especially the bed frames.
Agree, the best things there are probably the beds.
Uncomfortable for falangs maybe, but I see those wide benches in every second home it seems. Maybe the Thais have a different version of comfort as they seem to have no problem sleeping all night on a tile floor.
Totally agree. Same with most beds, harder than the floor.

Thanks for posting :-)
Thanks for having a look.
How much must those tables weigh!
A lot, I have no idea but 2 people are picking them up that is for sure.
I've sit on some, they're rather comfortable due to the contour - unless you've little flesh on the bottom.
lol, I do not have that problem.
What town ??
