The US, Australia and Nicaragua each have a lake with Bull Sharks in them. Nicaraguan Bull sharks reach the Lake from the San Juan river out of the Caribbean Sea.

Bull sharks live in many freshwater lakes and rivers throughout the world. Scientists believe that some migrate up rivers to give birth. Its safer for the pups. Zimbabwe also has a land locked lake with bulls and I believe so does Australia. The Mississippi also has had bulls caught a thousand miles up river.

The bull shark is the only shark that had the ability to cross over from salt water to fresh water but I found this very interesting although I do know quite a lot about sharks but this is very good thank you for sharing

Bull sharks in Australia's east coast travel up river to the freshwater, the females, mainly for reproduction, up to 80kms in the Clarence River. My great Uncles would catch massive ones, 3mtr long, to sell during the great Depression. There is a photo of them dragging one up the Main Street to sell to the fish and chip shop. Local surfers have had many incidents, some minor but many not. Bulls love muddy water. 🦈🦈🦈

There used to be thousands of sharks in the lake. The government began to fish the sharks solely for the fins, which were shipped to China for shark fin soup. Currently the sharks are returning to the lake but very few have been seen.

Bull sharks are perfectly capable of living in freshwater, in the Amazon, Mississippi and the Zambezi river to name the most significant ones, have bull sharks swimming in them

Australia also, bull sharks are one of the most aggressive sharks as well. Maybe not up there with the great white but prolly on par with the Mako which was always one of my favorites!!

Hey Rodrigo, I can tell you how to find those sharks. Go out in the lake and get in the water with 4 or 5 dead chickens tied to you and splash around for one hour. I can guarantee you that you will see some sharks. LOL

I think the land was uplifted. I found in Costa Rica fossils on a hight of 1000 meters of animals who lived previous in the ocean. Edit: I asked Google and it told me that the bull sharks are real in the Nicaragua lake! Sad thst the people are so poor that they need all the fishes from the lake. The situation will get very bad in the next months, because of energy and food shortages. In the US and Europe. Don't know how the situation will be in the America's.
Imagine discovering that lake and jumping in, thinking you're safe, FAR AWAY from any dangerous fish, a la sharks. So you and your family & kids jump in the water, then all of a sudden the waters start boiling up with bl00d & everyone you were with has suddenly disappeared. You turn around looking side to side & then see several fins slicing thru the water heading your way...then 🦈 🦈 🦈 a pack of bull sharks start devouring you limb by limb...that'd make for a terrible day. . . Bytheby, I heard Lake Nicaragua was thee MOST shark infested body of water in the world? That is kinda a shame they've been killed of. The novelty of it seemed pretty damn cool, but for the inhabitants of the surrounding area, I can imagine them wanting to be able to use the lake w/o the fear of being attacked/eaten alive

Actually there's 3 plus a sawfish,, however one is so rare that it's very seldom encountered and only gets about 3ft long

Nope. We have Bull Sharks in freshwater rivers and lakes here in Australia.
It will be hard anyways, cuz deep in the lake"s water is kind of dark, so it will a ramdon occasion.
I will let you know that plenty of other lakes have sharks. I live in south Louisiana and you can find sharks in our lakes near the shore. Bullsharksu
