This was my first pennsic and my first battle. man just looking at this field and hearing the horns makes me anxious. I felt so tense leading up to the charge. at least my kit this year will be more in order.
Damn, I miss this. I went to a practice for the first time since 2016 today... it was like coming home. I just might hit Wednesday through Friday of war week this year if I can swing it.
@@Andrew_-nr7zt i would seek out via social media/internet some reenactment groups around your area and start from there.. people are pretty open to new people in this hobby
@@Andrew_-nr7zt This was my first pennsic war and everyone was absolutely friendly and helpful. I camped with a very experienced group who got all of the trial and error out of the way to make it the most enjoyable experience. they were also the ones who authorized me to fight in the battles like this one which was one of the most fun I've ever had.

this is a sca event called pennsic not the same as renaissance fair but somewhat similiar
