Just subbed. I'm a 57-year-old white mom who's disabled and has a back full of metal. I want to learn to c-walk, which I recently discovered. I have trouble with balance, muscle stiffness, and walking smoothly. I'm going to learn this to help me with these things. As a former dancer, I know these steps may look simple. But putting them together in a way that looks this smooth isn't easy. I'm hoping that practicing helps me get up and moving in a more fluid way. This is the best tutorial I've seen (though there are some good ones out there!). This guy's infectious nature has me so motivated to get up and MOVE!
I did noticed that some of those steps were ol’skool to new if you break them down in parts from each B&C Walk styles & if you from NYC (esp the Sth Bronx) back when Hip-Hop was in the streets, parks like that battle dancing against someone doing moves like the smurf, the guitar, upbreak & ect.., you know exactly what I am talking about like call them hip-hop street freestyle dance moves no matter it has a name to them or not from the 70’s-80’s Rt. I actually lived it :)

He's not doing that on purpose. He doesn't want to be gang affiliated, he's just trying to teach great moves. Plus teaching both the C walk and the the B hop in one video, spelling the footwork correctly is a risky move on it's own. Not to mention what problems people could get from learning all this correctly and doing it correct in the wrong place. It's on purpose for good reasons. Don't do a war boogie unless you're a member.. He cares about his followers, he's into dance, not gangs.. He even changed outfits to not get someone aggravated..
