Papua New Guinea was a WW2 battlefield between the Americans/Australians against the Japanese and our country was devastated. America has done nothing for PNG.

Crashed into the ocean. There was one survivor. It didn't get shot down, there were no enemy units in the area. It lost power for unknown reasons and hit the water hard. The survivor was picked up by a passing barge. There was no mention of "cannibals" in the survivor's account, nor in the official record.
