Back when I was nine, my mom would always put this song to play at night to help her sleep. It's been four years that I lost her, and it feels so soothing to listen to it being played so beautifully. Quite liberating too, as if it translates the feelings I can't put into words. Thanks for sharing it

I was shopping around for a wind-up music box and searched piano renditions of tunes available and ended up listening to Harry Völker's Romeo and Juliet theme song. Lol! There is no music box that sounds like Harry. The crescendo of his A Time For Us sounds like the original soundtrack, ie, Baroque and not at all like a simple music box. But the notes of the first half were sparse enough and the timing was perfect, so in the end, it approximated a music box enough. It is a beautiful requiem. Thank you Harry.
