I hope you can help, my boot not opening even with the key. Lifts up a couple of inches on left side but seems to be held back by something on right. This is after roof started behaving oddly and one parking sensor fault. Can you help please?
@@CabrioletTech If the top is manually moved, Is there any sort of reset procedure that needs to happen before the top can be operated again electronically? Mine appears to have been closed manually, but the car is telling me to "Complete roof cycle".
@CarbrioletDr - I am trying to follow your instructions in reverse to manually open my top. I gather the first step is to unlock the rear glass from the access in the back seat. I have done this but the front portion of the glass panel on the RH side still appears to be locked to the front roof panel. Is there a trick to making sure the glass is fully free from the front roof panel? I am trying to see where maybe the latch isn't working properly but I'm not sure how to fully pull down that black headliner trim so I can see the latch mechanism?
@@CoryEastman Hi Manual opening is not recommended, unless under a controlled workshop environment Ultimately if there's no fault then it should open on the button
@@CabrioletTech - is manually opening the roof not the reverse of your instructions then? Are there additional steps? I have the F149 workshop manual, but I don't see a section for manually opening from coupe position.
Awesome video I have one question for you. What happens with the zip tie? Do you just leave it there?

My F149 roof is stuck closed. Do I need to manually lower the trunk divider to make room for the top?
Hello
Always good practice to make sure you have the room

Will it work if you cannot lower the quarter windows
Hi, typically all windows need to be working for roof to operate
Is there a way to manually open the roof?
Hi
Reverse of closing
Thank you !
Brilliant 😮
Danke fürs Zeigen wie es geht!
Ich hoffe ich muss es bei meinem Cali nie machen !
