I think the first blueprints are available before this boss allowing you to upgrade your weapon to +5 (don't do what I did and miss Mariano in the manor entirely until after this fight). If you focus on Yegor then Leena just will alternate between fireballs and the explosive arrows provided you don't get close. @Piotrus2019 castlevania is also like that though. There is plenty of cosmic horror in vania. Also, cosmic horror isnt a bloodborne thing. I reiterate, bloodborne is a tribute to castlevania in its setting, in its gameplay and in its aesthetic.
@@thehater6189 Bloodborne is a tribute to Lovecraft, not Castlevania. Castlevania is not like Lovevraft's space horror. The optional boss in The Last Faith is based on Cthulhu. Castlevania doesn't have the same cosmic connections as The Last Faith does with Bloodborne. This is a fact.
I used the Ethereal Glade Blade once I found it in the crypts. I upgraded it after Yegor and Leena to +5 (it had no upgrades beforehand), but I had 40 strength by Edwyn and 60 strength not too long after. Because of a lot of backtracking looking for secrets I ended at level 109 and had 69 strength. The Ethereal Great Blade only scales off strength and the soft cap appears to be 60. Using that weapon means putting points in other stats is mostly just boosting defenses.
@@CrankyTemplar Harbinger of Nightmare design and arena is great. I think if they added a weather change like heavy rain or the sky getting darker would've been even more cool. Hey great video and walk throughout by the way, liked the way you played 👍
Why am i unable to avoid Leena's fire blast even by getting behind her or performing a jump attack like in the video? I'm always getting damages for the whole duration of the attack.
Hi, how did you make that much damage with your weapon at this point 18:00. I use the same sword which is upgraded to level 5 and make about 150 damage points... 🤔
You didnt try to parry dr. Ridley' attacks in first phase or some other bosses ? Common... I became a master parry in this game and you are way better than me at hollow knight mods or some other metroidvania... I feel like parrying is really easy once you get the hang of it even though people complain a lot that it's impossible... I parried the melee enemies the entire game and I loved it
The button setup was a bit awkward for me so I didn't really try it. When I went back to get the 50 parries achievement I did find it wasn't too bad when I got more practice with it. Admittedly though, I'm usually pretty bad at parrying with games - the entire time I streamed the Dark Souls games folks suggested parrying and I never could get the hang of it. Kind of surprised I managed to get through streaming Sekiro.
Yeah in this game I was motivated to parry because it replenished health and mana - didnt had to rely on potions anymore in some zones... executing enemies also gives mana back ... by the way - the execution animations are straight up just like blasphemous ... among countless other things
Well, I wasn't using spells or the special moves so mana was never an issue plus I had so many healing injections Eryk probably would have been arrested for being a junkie.
The comparison would be more between The Last Faith and Blasphemous 2. If you haven't played Blasphemous it goes on sale pretty often at a very reduced price (I think I've seen a small sale for Blasphemous 2 so you might be able to see sales for it and The Last Faith). Blasphemous has some features people found more annoying like insta-kill spikes and pits and has less movement options (like double jump) that the second game added. Blasphemous 2 and The Last Faith are pretty equal though I think I liked Blasphemous 2 a little bit more.
Old Wymond is in Mythringal where you gave flowers to the one lady. Talk to him at each place he spawns to have him show up there. Nyxaroth is from finding all four noble crests and putting them in the slots in the door near where you fought Edwyn.
I dont know why blasphemous keeps getting mentioned. Blasphemous is just a metroidvania. It's not unique and neither is this. Theyre both solid 9/10 for me but last faith edges it out
Most of the players here are new and base opinions on new games only. This game is based of castlevania and Bloodborne, honestly, there's nothing similar to blasphemous here and I wondering if those people even played Blasphemous
My memory is a bit fuzzy on that but I remember first encountering him entering Mythringal, then I believe in the crypts around Edwyn, and then right before the second Starborn Nighthunter fight.
Just finished it and I'm missing 3 bosses. Dammit I gotta replay the game. Kinda got bored after 5 hours because exploration isn't fun and I had to run back and forth a lot. They should add a recall to the checkpoint smh. Enemies and bosses fight are surprisingly good tho. But I felt like strength weapons especially the Greatsword used in the video were very op, the skill has big i-frames and huge damage and long range so I think I have to avoid it in 2nd playthrough.
Good luck with the second playthrough! A checkpoint recall would be nice. I enjoyed exploration until I had to backtrack to find all the unborn - something to help find secrets or a general idea where missed ones are would have been nice. And the greatsword is really good from just needing strength for scaling - if I replayed I'd try out a different weapon or even try focusing spells to see how good they are.
I've player mind build for my first playthrough (mind 99 when fighting Medeya), and i have to say that was not a good idea. The best weapon for mind build is probably The Devourer of the Betrayed for its S mind multiplier, but that is a late game weapon. Before acquiring double jump i still have to spam the greatsword while my strength is even below 20. I still remember that when i fight The Burnt Apostate, my greatsword can only deal about 100 damage to her (only a half to yours in this video) while she can kill me with only 2 skills since I hardly upgrade my health. Spinal Chain Blade is another great option for mind builds too and you can obtain it much sooner. However, both of them consume demishade, which is almost a limited resource and It is not enough for upgrading two weapons to +10. Despite all the hardship I've encountered, I still love this game and my first playthorugh.
For spells, most of them not really good in this game, but some of them are suprisingly well. Personally, Accursed Phalanges is my favorite. In some conditions it can deal insane damage since each dark flame can deal damage individually, which means if the enemy is larger, it would be burnt by more dark flames. When I'm fighting Manfredd, I throw it with Accursed Phalanges while he isn't moving and the damage is really insane. He died after I did that 6 times. When I fight the second Leena, I realized that she wouldn't jump away when I'm not close to her. I spam her with 7 Accursed Phalanges then she died and I didn't even need to move. (This strategy doesn't work on Nyxaroth because he has god damn dark resistance.). Another spell I would recommand is Moonshade Tears. Each of its ice spear deals damage individually either, and that makes freeze effect a lot easy to trigger. When you encounter many enemies, you can spam them with this spell and they would be freezed in a short period of time. I suppose this spell is not binding for mind builds because you can ignore its damage and just freeze enemy and use weapons. Also, this spell can be claimed in relatively beginning of a playthrough, so it is. Some of the fire spells are cool too such as Curse of the Burned and Nighttide’s Dismissal but I still prefer Accursed Phalanges and Moonshade Tears for their versatility.
@@oliverliu6302The Ice Sword is good too, a good mind weapon, the ice dragon boss it's pretty easy so with enough patience (doing low dps with the whip) I got it early in the game, I used it for the entire game until I found the Dark Katana that was so much better because of better scaling.
Bro how did you do that? You're fighting Leena alone but when I fought her she was with someone I even thought it was her twin or sumth, I fought two bosses
Nyxaroth is near where you fought Edwyn. You need all four noble crests to access him. Harbinger is in the Mansion of Esk. You need to have done the dancer quest, bought the mask, and found the ghost in the mansion to be able to see the door.
What, the boses here are really repetitive. You fight the same enemies several times, and two of the big bosses are just variant versions of the ones you fought earlier.
@@nightwynd5663 Yes, the designs are more generic; but the battles themselves are better. I love Blasphemous, but I must admit that, with some honorable exceptions such as Eviterno, Orospina or the bosses of the Blasphemous 1 DLCs, its bosses are not challenging or fun. The vast majority of them are excessively easy to defeat after a few attempts and the fights usually feel short. It kind of gives you the feeling that it could have been a very epic battle, but it falls halfway. This has happened to me with almost all the bosses in Blasphemous 2... In The Last Faith, however, all the bosses have been enjoyable to me so far. They are all challenging, fun, and although I haven't gotten stuck for long with any of them, I have found them all satisfying. I'm serious: give this game a chance and don't just stick with its appearance and its inspirations, because the truth is that it is a very good metroidvania.
The secret boss you faced is Nyxaroth, right? I guess it's under the 4 missing emblems and I'm missing one, and I know I have to complete the npc that asks you to give him some kind of "baby" meat. I'm missing only 6 and how lazy it is to have to look for the Also, I would just like to know the latest locations, I've always hated those secret reward systems... I will never play anything again because this version of the game gave me horrible drops in fps and I would say too much, the hunter boss with that electric baton cost me a lot. You can imagine the drop in fps that I had to face, the boss of the giant anacondas and the last final boss the cosmic voice, the truth is that I defeated that one because of a bug that stayed still and I simply wanted to finish it because of how poorly optimized it is, not even the first time I played Blasphemous 2 it wasn't that bad... Only Nyxaroth is missing but, forget it, I'm not going to look for the last missing ones with that bad optimization, the good part is that without a doubt I really enjoyed the effort that the bosses gave me, I would say that without a doubt only in that field they surpass blasohemous, great scenarios and a variety of weapons (but I wish they weren't so far from getting it and then improving an absurd amount of farming), the forgettable story and no memorable scenario, although the fact that it doesn't have any memorable ones is a pretty good touch, I would say it was fine... Well, ah, wait for KumiSoulGames to release that urgent patch but I really want to play it again because of those 3 bosses that will annoy me due to their poor optimization and 2 winter scenarios and high cathedrals too... Anyway, good video, note that almost the majority came to use that powerful sword and I would say without a doubt it is the most broken weapon of all, but when I found out about the scythe, I quickly fell in love with it and maximized it as far as I could, although There were also other weapons that I will undoubtedly do in the other game when they release the fixed patch... Anyway, good video and good gameplay, defeating those bosses!
I got 10 fps on harbringer of nightmare and the cosmic voice but managed to kill them somehow, also there's a guide to most secerts on youtube a simple search will do.

Not including the character development system like in solos. The story and its world are closer to Bloodborn.
I would use words: "more of a tribute to Bloodborne".
Super lack on nintendo switch !! but you are super good !!
Just need a ng+ and this will be complete , I think I missed something to unlock the 3rd ending and I don’t want to start over 🤣
I think they plan to implement NG+ down the road.
Hey man could you please tell me what’s your build?
I used the Ethereal Glade Blade once I found it in the crypts. I upgraded it after Yegor and Leena to +5 (it had no upgrades beforehand), but I had 40 strength by Edwyn and 60 strength not too long after. Because of a lot of backtracking looking for secrets I ended at level 109 and had 69 strength. The Ethereal Great Blade only scales off strength and the soft cap appears to be 60. Using that weapon means putting points in other stats is mostly just boosting defenses.
incredible artwork
but i wished the bosses have more variety other than some dude with long limbs, with wings and my dad's hair in the 80's
Damn, now I'm picturing demon MacGyver as a boss coming at the player with a swiss army knife, mullet, and anything scattered about the arena.
Dismas is that you
Stuck on Medeya right now. I keep getting her to a few hits before death and she spam dashes me. Worst boss in the game.
All the bosses and their arenas are good and well designed. Which one or ones are your fav?
Probably Harbinger of Nightmare and Laddak.
@@CrankyTemplar Harbinger of Nightmare design and arena is great. I think if they added a weather change like heavy rain or the sky getting darker would've been even more cool. Hey great video and walk throughout by the way, liked the way you played 👍
It may sound obvious, but is Ending C the true ending of the Last Faith?
Presumably so since the other two are bad endings.
I wonder if someone can post the ost, its so good.
Videos about this game are scarce
One question the beast form affects the endings of the game
Lost my savefile on ps4 with the latest update. I was at 84 % 😢. Now i have to start all over again
Why am i unable to avoid Leena's fire blast even by getting behind her or performing a jump attack like in the video?
I'm always getting damages for the whole duration of the attack.
Probably the hitbox was patched, I played in the most recent version and couldn't do it either
How are we supposed to dodge then?
@@BoogeyJack you can duck/crouch under it
Well i just figured it thanks
Hi, how did you make that much damage with your weapon at this point 18:00. I use the same sword which is upgraded to level 5 and make about 150 damage points... 🤔
I also had 60 strength at that point.
@@CrankyTemplar😅 ok, thank you
Bloodborne+Blasphemous
I fucking hate hydra boss fight bcause it makes my frame drop so bad I hardly land a hit on them
killed it with 11fps lol
blasphemous if it took heavier inspiration from castlevania
Well, I wasn't using spells or the special moves so mana was never an issue plus I had so many healing injections Eryk probably would have been arrested for being a junkie.
hope the boss battle teached Loona
Hey there! Is there a way to farm Moonsilver Stones or are they limited ?
I think once you give the last blueprint to Mariano you can buy as many as you like.
Looking to get a new game, would you guys recommend this or Blasphemous more?
The comparison would be more between The Last Faith and Blasphemous 2. If you haven't played Blasphemous it goes on sale pretty often at a very reduced price (I think I've seen a small sale for Blasphemous 2 so you might be able to see sales for it and The Last Faith). Blasphemous has some features people found more annoying like insta-kill spikes and pits and has less movement options (like double jump) that the second game added.
Blasphemous 2 and The Last Faith are pretty equal though I think I liked Blasphemous 2 a little bit more.
Where can I find the Old Wymond and Cthulhu boss ?
Old Wymond is in Mythringal where you gave flowers to the one lady. Talk to him at each place he spawns to have him show up there. Nyxaroth is from finding all four noble crests and putting them in the slots in the door near where you fought Edwyn.
The stupid tentacles keep killing me man how many times does he gotta use them...
10k likes for you awe.
Castlemous: Ritual of the Knight.
Yes
I cannot get the true ending. I fought them and it ended
Where is the old wymond boss? He’s the only one I missed
He's in Mythringal where you gave flowers to the one lady. You need to talk to him at all other spots.
@@CrankyTemplarwhat other spots?
My memory is a bit fuzzy on that but I remember first encountering him entering Mythringal, then I believe in the crypts around Edwyn, and then right before the second Starborn Nighthunter fight.
@@CrankyTemplar is he called old wymond in all those areas, because I don't remember meeting anyone named that.
@@The_medicine_frog Believe so, he's an old man.
@@oliverliu6302The Ice Sword is good too, a good mind weapon, the ice dragon boss it's pretty easy so with enough patience (doing low dps with the whip) I got it early in the game, I used it for the entire game until I found the Dark Katana that was so much better because of better scaling.
you have to maintain RB and press the attack button in succession to perform combos.
and here I am noob for life...wiping and rage quiting at Edwyn for second day. Any tips for Edwyn?
I'm pretty sure you can upgrade your weapon to +2 which will help a bit with damage. What attacks are giving you trouble?
Oh thanks will do that! few times I was on "close call" extra dmg will help!@@CrankyTemplar
Bro how did you do that? You're fighting Leena alone but when I fought her she was with someone I even thought it was her twin or sumth, I fought two bosses
That's what happened when I faced them but I don't know if any patches changed things between release and now.
Where is Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight?
In the bottom area where you fought Edwyn. You need all four family crests to reach the fight.
Half of the bosses look the same, quite uninspiring. Also, The Burnt Apostate boss fight is an Isidora CtrlC/CtrlV.
Kuźwa, Blasphemous ale w innym wydaniu XP
The two gargoyles where are they located?
The Winged Pale Laments are in the Inquisition area. You find them very, very early on.
@@CrankyTemplar I’m definitely playing it wrong then 🤦♂️ lol
where i can find: Harbinger and Eldritch? I complete game, but miss this bosses
Nyxaroth is near where you fought Edwyn. You need all four noble crests to access him. Harbinger is in the Mansion of Esk. You need to have done the dancer quest, bought the mask, and found the ghost in the mansion to be able to see the door.
@@CrankyTemplar Thanks, but what if npc with this mask is disappeared like other? I cant talk with this ghost in this save?
You may be locked out for that playthrough.
Stuck at Yegor and Leena. That's one nearly impossible fight.
Kinda looks like but i asure you it's no.
You can try to kill first Leena and then focus on Yegor cause his moves are not that fast as Leena.
Gosh these bosses are much better than the ones from, blasphemous 1 and 2.
What, the boses here are really repetitive. You fight the same enemies several times, and two of the big bosses are just variant versions of the ones you fought earlier.
they look way more generic than in blasphemous
This is 100% bait
Im struggling... like really... i dont know where to go... how do i get to laddak please?
You need to go to the High Walls of Mythringal, go right and defeat the Cold One Beast and Leena, which opens the final area.
@@CrankyTemplar but i dont even know how to get there.... :c i mean... the doors to the right area are closed and i dont know how to open them
You might need to check a guide or ask on their Discord as you probably need more info than what I think I could give in a comment.
@@CrankyTemplar the thing is, i didnt find any guide :( but thank you anyway
@repairize Gotcha, let me check some stuff and I'll get back to you.
Hopefully they are able to fix those fps issues.
they said they'll do in a patch update also add NG+. gonna replay the game after it release@@CrankyTemplar
Blasphemous?
not at all
Hi, I'm almost at the end, but I'm not able to do it without suffering damage like you, you can write to me In response, how do you unlock all the bosses in the game and finish it 100% in all ways?...thank you.. because I have unlocked everything let's say, I have found all the secrets up to now, I have arrived at the beginning of Junas's ministry , I would like to finish it by facing all the bosses, could you help me with the steps?? Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Which bosses from this compilation have you not fought yet? You want to make sure that you fight some of them like the Harbinger of Nightmare before facing Laddak as otherwise the means to reach them may be cut off.
@@CrankyTemplar The last one I beat is the one in the flooded crypt, when you insert the four family emblems, the one that launches roots into the earth They call him the god, I'm 89% completed, now I should do the ministry of Junas the red zone I don't know I think I've done all the rest of the maps there's nothing to explore.. what do you think?? What is the Nightmare monster?
I finally got to Medeya the final boss, even though I watch how you defeat her I'm still not within her reach when she does those fast bursts I don't even have time to look at the line where it passes, it's strong 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Shoot, my apologies for missing your response. The nightmare monster is the hydra in the area where you fight Yegor and Leena.
For Medeya kneeling means only one possible dash can hit you (but she might repeatedly aim low if you kneel). I think you can also double jump and dash in the corner repeatedly which dodges them reasonably well (but not perfectly). Good luck!
guys, what needs to be done to appear The Old Wymond, and how to get to Nyxaroth?
Nyxaroth is for finding all the children, which gives you the 4th crest. For Old Wymond you need to talk to him on every occasion and then he will spawn later in the game.
@@mystrdat thanks bro

So, Blaspheborne huh
