This song is incredible..! F***ing heavy, though still melodic... So intense, in a way that it feels like taking over my body :-)...
Notice how Matt sings the first two notes of the chorus like he does on the album. Shortly after he started drawing them out, already by 2004. I prefer it this way

I guess taking that rest in between and reaching the note again implies an extra effort , maybe that's why he does it continuous now.

Cold chills every time. Saw them play on a flatbed trailer on the Curiosa Tour in 2003 with, The Cure, Mogwi, The Rapture and Interpol. One of the best shows ever, ever.
