I also managed to play for about have the game in a small market and the rest in one of the big 3. There's so much to go over in this game so expect some more videos on Vicky 3 soon! Enjoy 📽
ummm not sure if I'll actually do disaster submissions yet but I guess send them here anyways and I might make a video on it: zieleysubmission@gmail.com

Best guide compared to those put out by all those paradox promoters and influencers. I learned a lot from this video alone.
i agree same well explained and detailed
What are your guys' thoughts on Victoria 3?? I'm having a lot of fun with it, but still so much to learn and test!
It's an amazing game when you play it.
Just play it again, perfect game, I have started thinking of buying it
It needs polish but its a great game.
Its a really cool game, super complex, takes a while to get used to it.
My thoughts are that you should play Canada… no bias here 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hi, constructing nothing as a small nation is a costly mistake. You get 5 construction for free - that generally is worth about 5K weekly. Having no construction queue is letting that go to waste. If you cannot afford the (few) construction centers you have, downgrade them until you can construct in the green.
I just got done with your video. One tip I would say is to always be building all the time. Either keep resources for building low or import them.I feel like it wasting a resource. I could be wrong but it just how I prefer to play.
"they kinda need those to live so it would kinda be a dick move to tax them on it" such poetry
Love how you pronounce intelligentsia like a spanish word ("intelligenista") while it was borrowed from Russian and easier to pronounce haha. Great video, I'm gonna try Greece now.
It's actually from Latin, but yeah, I twitched my eye every time he pronounced it wrong.
Yeah, if you want me to pronounce it like that then spell it that way.
@piopio2 Actually, Bronisław Trentowski coined the term inteligencja, so etymologically, it is derived from Polish. The pronunciation in English is very similar to Polish pronunciation.
If I hear the intelligentsia be called "intelligenistas" again I will go mad. Also lol too tho lmao. Great video!
Would love a full playthrough with greece
I immediately put it on the shelf, waiting for the day when Zieley would come and save me from Paradox. And that day is now.
just something to note about the 'productivity' when importing or exporting. that number is the amount that the Trade Center would make by helping you do the trade, this employs shopkeepers to run the trades. so more profitable trades, regardless of imports or exports would increase the profits on the Trade Center. Unproductive trade routes are routes that is not profitable for the Trade Center.
Now we just need to wait for Zieley to become good so we can pester him with fun challenges!
I'm really loving Vicky 3, already sunk about 50 hours into it and still have no idea what I'm doing. Amazing to see you making a video on it. Your ck3 videos basically made that game playable for me.
Loved everything about this video. Will watch whether you continue or restart.
Absolutely adore this video, looking forward to more and possibly even a continuation of this playthrough with a focus on alliances and uniting the greek homeland~

One of the best hands-on guides atm, I like your funny meme style man, you're a legend with CK3!
Dude, loving your videos!
FINALLY BACK!!!, CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH YOUR NEW VID. Love from me and my friend Splinter.
Please continue on with this one - this was so helpful.
Do more videos man. You single handedly taught me how to actually play ck3.
I wasn’t sure if I’d like Victoria playthroughs, since I like your content and I’ma huge CK3 fan, BUT it was great. Waiting for new content on V3
Keep playing Victoria 3! I’m obsessed with this game. Can’t wait to see you with some disaster saves.
Very good explanation. Keep it up! I would love to see a second video.
I love it! The game has given me a new appreciation for economics lol. First game I play was Mexico. I did pretty well even if I didn't master all the mechanics :))
Finally a good tutorial for this headache of a game 👍
Great video!
One note on pronunciation,
The faction you were promoting at around 12-13 minutes is pronounced In-tele-gent-see-ah rather than in-tele-geh-neest-ah.
I would love to see you continue this one with a military guide. Maybe using this nation you've build to widen your influence in the Mediterranean and the colonies, while managing your economy. Excellent content as usual.
I will definitely try this one !!!
I like that you learned a lot from your time playing, You did play a bit too conservatively and had slow growth because of it, but that will change with experience.
In-tel-li-gen-tsi-a 😀
You can actually wage war in the beginning. When egypt is at war with the ottomans you can take crete from them without ever engaging in a battle, I do it every single game with Greece and it never has not worked.
thx for the video
i've been waiting for this since the release of vic 3 xD
hmm.., so I am subscribed to you, watch your videos regularly, basically learned ck3 from you, I was looking for vic3 tutorial and UA-cam didn't suggest me this video at all
Yup yup yup this is a banger, love from me and my friend owen
Zieley = underrated
Hey Zieley, excellent content once again but I am left with a question- What kind of editing software do you use? Cheers
i hope next year you make more vic 3 videos and start saving some disasters plays
Pov: paradox: we will make questionable tutorial in ouer games, if pleyers want to learn how to play there are Ziely, Bit3rsteal, Otta welshman...
Ottawa ottawa
More playthrough of Victoria 3! 🙏
good vide okeep op the good work😃❤
Great intro video
Thank you for the vine boom
lmao

Vic 3 player trying to pronounce Intelligentsia challenge (impossible)
@@elseggs6504 I will admit that "Intelegenista" made me smile a bit
how about playing ck3 without using troops (defensive wars only), is it possible to get from country to empire?
The greener grasses thingy only increases migration within your market. And since your market only includes you it won’t increase your population. Your migration laws are what affects migration for pop increases.
Definitely more
Hello. I am trying my luck on Madagascar, and it's quite a challenge. Isolationism should be forbidden! Any clue would be welcome. Many thanks for your videos. I wish I could have you with me to help me sort out my CK3 dead ends😁
Byzantine & Hellenic hype
Love ya
I dunno, if it's still possible, but you all should really invade Crete in your first few years as Greece. Egypt does f*** all to defend it and you can get both the island and war reparations easily :)
Great video, but how do I declare interest in Africa to start to colonise? I’ve passed the law but still can’t start without interest
Lit
please continue this and rebuild the roman empire or rebuild the alexander's empire
Please do a video of Argentina in v3, please.
Continue please
Make part 2 !! Create Byzantium :D
@zieley I’m building a new PC and would like to give you my old one when I build my new one. It’s not much but it’s a PC!
We need an update
PLEASE MORE ECONOMIC PLAYTHROUGH
I have like 300 hours. But, my computer is so slow that 3 years take like 1-2 hours.
Can I suggest you use some software like Nvidia Broadcast or something. It is super jarring to go from silent to fuzzy background like a fan or something and speech then back to silence. It's not super noticeable once the music is running high but, once you notice it you hear it even then. Remember audio is on par with a video looking good. Like the videos keep up the good work.
Any key giveaways for this game?
You should give tibet a go
Nice video.
greece to byzantium challange?
I was turned off of rhis game cus of the stuff i heard ab tbe war but micromanaging incoke has always been my fav part of paradox games anyways
Intelligenistas
jeff....jeff.. ...
Please play city skyline
Can you take back all the Aegean, maybe even Byzantium, from the Turks?
Play elder kings 2
If you are insecure about uploading a long video, I'm one of those guys who only watch long videos
moar
Dollars? In greece srlsy? They used the oldest currency in the world. Drachma.
The problem with Vic3 is that it is a supply side “economic simulator”, when in reality economics works the exact opposite way.
Play Brazil. Conquer South America.
100000th
It wasn’t that bad. As far as I know, people were working 12 hour shifts on factories because it wasn’t much worse than being a farmer at that time.
Idk bro, having your kids squished by heavy machinery at the factory you live in because he has to work too seems slightly worse. It sure was better once the workers unionized and striked en masse
They used to prioritize hiring women and children because you don't have to pay them as much as men and women/children have small hands.
It was better after unions, obviously. But industrialization is the primary reason people were lifted above absolute poverty, which was the norm for most of human history.
In the case of kids working in factories, before that a number of kids wouldn't even be able to survive, becoming bandits, soldiers or dying before adulthood due to non existent medicine (remember universities and hospitals need the excess production to survive, otherwise they can't exist in substantial numbers, you pretty much had to be a noble to have access to education or medicine before the industrial revolution).
So yeah, kids working not a good thing but apparently better than not being able to eat at all.
Now you need to go down the nationalism early path and retake at least modern Greece.
It's like you say the game is incomplete and should be offered at a greatly reduced price
First 🥇🏆
"What a shit time to be alive". This erks me because this isn't really true. It's very easy to describe the horrible conditions of a post-industrialized society today because we work standards. There is one problem with this. If it was so horrible to live an urban life and work 16 hours a day at the local steal processing plant, why did people move to the cities? This is simply because a farm life before agricultural mechanization was waaaaay worse! Work 18 hours every day exposed on a farm with little to know product to sell. In short factory jobs suck but it was a step up from what they were doing.
This! Industrialisation is the process that lifted most people out of absolute poverty, which was the norm for thousands of years.
People did not voluntarily move to cities. They were expelled from the countryside, through policies of land enclosure and privatization.
It literaly happened all over Europe (and down here in Brazil also, where I'm from, but to a lesser degree).
Edit: there are studies that show that the workday from late 14th century until the early 18th century had an avarege of 5/6 hours a day.
@@psora1 They were expelled to get jobs. In the middle ages they wouldn't be expelled, instead they would die either fighting each other for limited resources or by not being able to sustain themselves. So yeah, a better opportunity there.
As for workdays, you can't really average them. A farmer can work from dusk to dawn, or he may not work at all in winter. A subsistence peasant of the 14th century had A LOT of work to do on his free time, whereas now I can sit around playing games while my pizza is on the way. No, they did work all day.
@@psora1 Source?
Intelligentsia. Just fix this pronunciation for the next video please. Im either going to have block the channel or cut off my ears if not fixed.
Victoria 3 is basically economy micromanagement with absolutely garbage war and diplomatic mechanics. The game is genuinely terrible and exhausting to play. The pop-ups don't actually tell you how to address the problems that happen. Diplomatic plays and interests are a terrible mechanic. War is done so poorly that it is incredible they thought the mechanics were functional and good on launch. The frontlines systems from HOI4 were perfectly fine and the custom editing of units and divisions in that game should have just been brought over, its been years since HOI4 launched so they absolutely know how to code in the mechanics. At the time, the Victoria Era was the single most violent period in human history, and absolutely none of that is reflected in the game; The Crimean War, the Opium wars, the Franco-Prussian War, colonial conflicts, independence and revolution movements, etc. On colonization, there is no way to control which county is colonized next it's completely random, and you can't even see the counties but they are there because the frontlines move across them when you're in war.
The mechanics are obscenely barebones and bland, even almost 2 years post release of the game and the fact that they're charging $50 for this turd is truly astounding. At best, its a $25 game and at worst, $15. Guilded Destiny seems more promising and its in alpha.
Vic 3 is exhausting to play, the micro is annoying, and individual government systems are not modeled correctly at all. The US cannot control the means of production at all until WW2, it didn't even have an income tax until 1913. There is no difference between monarchies, parliaments, and republics. It becomes line go up simulator after 1850.
