How to Preserve Leaves with Glycerin… (Results on first try!)

UPDATE!!! It’s been over 3 years and these leaves are still perfect! I have used them in my art journal with grest success!!!
Results! And “How to” of preserving leaves with glycerine…
Glycerine came from the pharmacy section of Walmart for about $2. Mix up 1 part glycerine to 2 parts water… then soak your leaves. I placed another pan on top to keep them submerged. Did a test and pulled out a couple ginkgo leaves after one week and they are brighter in color, but not as pliable as those left for two. Sweet gum leaves worked well. Ready to try again now that many more are turning those beautiful colors! Ok, now back to sewing that book ✌️✌️
