My BIGGEST yellowtail + EXPENSIVE MISTAKE taking my skiff offshore

Hey guys, on todays trip we venture offshore to some nearby wrecks we have here in Miami. During the trip I end up making a pretty costly mistake but still finished the day with my personal best yellowtail snapper and some more meat for the table. Enjoy!

Hey man, enjoying your videos. What set up are you using for Yellow Jack? Flourocarbon? Jig size? Also, what bait shop do you go for bait?

For the yellowjack I was using 7’ medium action with a 4000 size penn battle 3. 15lb braid main line with a bout a 3’ leader of 20lb flouro. Jig is 1/8th yellowtail jig
