Ryan this is in-depth! We made the Fogland Backpack as an everyday bag built for rugged use in basically any weather. It's truly a lifestyle backpack, which is right in line with your requirements. One thing we didn't catch in the video is comparison of laptop compartments, so we wanted to mention that the Fogland 25L has a large laptop compartment welded directly to the back panel. We put the main compartment zipper towards the back of the bag so that even if you've packed your bag chock-full, you have easy access to slide your laptop out. Let us know if you have any questions and again, great video!

Oh, wow, that is truly amazing! I use a 16" Lenovo G5 Pro, so this bag seems absolutely perfect for me. It's another compelling reason why this bag would be an ideal choice!

The SLNT Company is fire! Its more than just a waterproof bag, they are a company that makes "faraday cages" Emp proof bags. Totally understand why they stuff is pricey when they do work with the secret service and U.S. government

You don't need to have air inside those ITIWIT bags. The marketing material shows it filled like a balloon because, as a kayaking bag, having air inside lets it float in case it gets detached from the kayak. You don't need to fill it up with air when you have it on your back.

Nice comparison! Also worth checking out are the Watershed Animas, Patagonia Guidewater and Skogakust Backsak Pro.

Hey buddy why you didn’t considered the Ortlieb?I’m using one and I’m in love with it. Light, comfortable, stylish anywhere, nice material, 5 years warranty! Got 20% discount and the price was legit. It’s probably not a totally submersible but do you really need that on a trip? I don’t. If I was fishing or kayaking ok I you look for something else but as you that’s not what I wanted.

@@RyanZapss oh man you’ll like it. They are really well done. I’m writing to you and using mine. I’ve been using it a lot in Manhattan. You never know if all of a sudden some rain will pop up. It saved me many times with items like camera and paper stuff and besides that as I said it’s light and stylish.

To each there own 👐🏻 I ended up Buying the Breakwater one and couldn't be happier, its fully Submersible and I get tons of Compliments on how cool the bag looks. So for me, the details in life matter. I like stuff that Looks good, but also contains a lot of functionality. If the goal was just to keep things dry, then I would just use some cheap solution with zero style...
