@@jeffreykicia6534 Dude that's fast -so close to breaking 14! My fastest 5K was 14:46, about 20 years ago. I broke 15 quite a few times, but never by very much. Sometimes when I think back to my racing days it still feels like yesterday. You never really lose the love.
Here are the timings of the events 0:29 - Women's 400 m 2:10 -Men's 800 m 5:47 - Women's 3000 m Steeplechase 17:07 - Women's 200 m(SMU does a crazy 21.74 - WL) 19:55 - Women's 1500 m 26:36- Men's 400 m Hurdles(Warholm does crazy 46.92) 26:34- Women's 400 m Hurdles 29:16- Men's 100 m 32:26 - Men's 5000 m 51:36- Women's 4 into 100 m relay
And SMU has really proved her dominance in the 200 and 400 m, I doubt anyone can beat her in those events as long as she stays in form and injury free. That winning streak is just going to keep increasing. How I wish that she was trying the double at the Olympics! Basically Allyson Felix and her are the two Michael Johnson's in women track and field has stellar performances in both the 200 and 400 m.
There were 2 women Who completed double 200m-400m Olympic gold Marie Jose-Perec 1996 Los Angeles and Valerie Brisco-Hooks 1988 Atlanta. SMU could do it depending upon the schedule
Reminds me of when Filbert Bayi in the Commonwealth Games where he pushed himself and the pace to stay from the likes of John Walker who would have a strong finish and came out victorious with a world record.
17:50 - Damn she's not even tired almost. She's smiling in fact. I think Shaunae Miller with her long strides are going to tea apart the 200 and 400 m at the Olympics if she tries them both out.
Chepkoech was very gracious toward Coburn after the race, considering that Coburn has accused Chepkoech of being a doper (without any evidence, of course).
There's no evidence as in positive drug test. But when Chepkoech destroyed the world record by 8 seconds, a record formerly held by known doper Jebet, and Chepkoech's best time at that point was 15 seconds slower, you have to be an idiot not to suspect Chepkoech of being dirty.
@@vandrosia Same tired, old "too-good-to-be-true" reasoning. What was Beamon's PR before he jumped 2 feet further than anyone had before? What was Moorcroft's PR before he lopped 6 seconds off the 5,000 record? Were we all idiots for not writing them off as cheats? Wondrous things happen from time to time. You'd know that if you knew anything about the history of the sport. But go ahead. Be suspicious if it pleases you. But if you're a competitor of the person you're smearing, don't be surprised if you're accused of sour grapes when you voice those suspicions publicly and without a shred of evidence other than a performance vastly superior to your own.
I am not worried, Amos will get it done in Doha, and he will run sub 1:42 to win, cuz Brazier had no tactic. If Amos gets his shit together in Doha, he will rub 1:41
There really is no reason for the commentator to refer to the word suicide on at least two occasions, "he/she had a suicidal last lap" ,is not correct sports terminology .Have a bit of class
This commentor is disgusting your a big man and need to call a SPADE what it is, Shaunae Miller beat Dianah A Smith yet you're trying to find excuse say what it is a WIN.
He was able to kick because the pace set by the pacemaker and Amos was too fast. He essentially ran his own race at a pace that was comfortable for him whilst Amos died at the end because he was going at a suicidal pace.
Who's the commentator for the 800 m? He's saying that Amos would set a world record if he was able to maintain the pace. What sort of ignorant fool he is! Nobody almost can run a negative split and those who can do it in slightly slower races where the first lap is relatively less tiring than in races with consistent and hard pace.

Brusells is going to be the best Diamond league finale in a very long time, what with such phenomenal athletes in all events around!
CHEPTEGEI!!!! Favorite runner in the world right now. Certainly one of the hardest working.
Thanks for the upload!!!! Awesome!
That 400m hurdle....my goodness!
That mens 5K was fantastic. Such a courageous run by Cheptegei awesome to see him hold on for the win.

Team Kenya gulf gonga wapi likes za Kenya HOME OF HEROS
A 48.23 first 400 m split for the 800 m is just plain crazy. I only see pacemakers or possibly Johnny Gray going out that fast for the first lap.
He shouldn't have ran that first lap that fast. It took away from what he could have given on the last 60 meters.
And the giant kintamas award goes to Cheptegei and Warholm, jointly. Incredible race by Warholm. The WR is seriously in danger.

I think she did it to herself by following Chepkoech when she shouldn't have. But congrats to Kenya for sure.
