  • I recently purchased this Jumper T-Lite 16CH OpenTX Multiprotocol transmitter with Hall Sensor Gimbals from Banggood for $63.99 plus shipping:

It cost me about $71 with the shipping, which I think it is a great price for a name-brand multiprotocol radio that can bind to hundreds of different types of receivers and BNF/RTF RC aircraft. I have been using my RadioMaster TX16S OpenTX transmitter for over eight months, and I have been extremely happy with it in terms of its quality and its versatility of being able to bind to almost any 2.4GHz modern receiver.
So, you may ask why I purchased this little Jumper T-Lite transmitter. Well, besides my compulsion for trying out new things, I had three reasons:
    1) Jumper is a competitor of RadioMaster, and this T-Lite can bind to anything that TX16S can bind. I wanted to compare them. Competition is good for the consumers! (I also wanted to have a back-up radio.)
    2) I have many small airplanes, helicopters and drones that I regularly fly in the local park. I do not want to use the toy radios that they come with, but I also do not like taking my bulky RadioMaster TX16S every time I go to the park to fly. This T-Lite is light and compact, and it can also bind to most of my small RC aircraft.
    3) I am in the process of getting into small-sized first-person-view (FPV) drones. And I thought this small and light transmitter would be great for that purpose, since FPV drones do not need all the switches, buttons and dials that the TX16S has.
In the last three videos, I did the unboxing of my new Jumper T-Lite, showed how to bind it to and set it up with Eachine and Volantex RC Mini Warbirds Series airplanes, and then flew my Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan with the T-Lite:

    • Jumper T-Lite 16CH Ope...
    • Jumper T-Lite 16CH Ope...
In this video, I am flying my Eachine Mini F4U Corsair in the local park first with the T-Lite and then with the stock transmitter and sharing my impressions and comparison of these two transmitters.

If there was a way to put the one button acrobatics on the Jumper, that would be great.

Is there a 3 position switch for gyro, mid and expert?
    Also 1 button acrobatics button?
